With Windows 10 v1709 (Fall Creators Update), make sure you running the latest Crimson Relive 17.1x.x drivers with the 'compute' toggle on for each of the cards in AMD settings
I'm running on Win 10 v1709 and Crimson Relive 17.30.x. There is no GPU workload with "compute" toggle. My RX580 8GB are getting 25 MH/s on stock, should I downgrade Relive to 17.10 and I'll be able to see "GPU Workload" toggle there?

Edited:
I think it's fine to run on 17.30.x, because there is a note for the driver: This driver is not intended for graphics or gaming workloads.

Download the latest driver from the AMD website if you're on Windows 10 v1709 and do a clean install after running DDU in safe mode to remove the old drivers. Be sure to enable the option in DDU to disable the Windows automatic driver installation.

I have both the Sapphire Nitro+ and Nitro+ SE RX 580 (blue shroud cards). I have the best results with the Nitro+ non SE RX 580 cards. Both the SE and non SE cards overclock well after a simple Polaris Bios Editor v1.62 'one click timing patch' Bios mod and run cool. The non SE cards are cheaper and I prefer them. The blue RX 580 SE cards also have annoying blue led fans that can't be turned off.

shit that blue led for the fans makes it look spiffy as hell lol, though even I have to admit its lit up way more than I thought they were going to be lol. its a awesome lightshow with the lights off though

If I'm not mistaken, you might be able to at least change the colour of the blue fan lights with sapphire trixx - possibly even turn em off?  One thing for sure is that after mining with them for a couple of months, the original cool blue lights will turn greenish due to the heat that the gpu's put out.   I just picked up a batch of the SE blue cards this week and you can really tell the difference between my 3 month old batch and these new ones.

I just picked up 5 x Sapphire Nitro+ SE (Micron Memory)

All 5 of them hash at 29.6-30.5mhs in silent mode without touching the bios. Running Aug 23 blockchain driver.

My oc settings are:
Core: 1150
Memory: 2250
Core Undervolt: -96
Memory Undervolt: -96
Fans: 50-80%

All above is applied via command line to Claymore 10.2

This gives a power at the wall of 125w per card and 83w in GPUz

The cards have been running for 12hrs with no errors at all and temps between 50-60C

The only odd thing i find is that in Polaris it only has 1 set of straps 0: which is why i havnt bios modded them.

You need a better Bios editor to correctly show straps on all rx580's - Here is a good one:

nope the color on the sapphire nitro+ rx 580 8gb SE is BLUE only, pretty sure if we could do other colors, there would be a button like on the regular rx 580's and 480's

With Windows 10 v1709 (Fall Creators Update), make sure you running the latest Crimson Relive 17.1x.x drivers with the 'compute' toggle on for each of the cards in AMD settings or the AMD blockchain drivers in Windows v1703. I have the same cards with the same dual Bios and get 31+ MH/s dual mining with DCR 875 MH/s with a core clock 1200 MHz memory clock 2100 MHz. I use the Polaris Bios Editor v1.6.2 'one click timing patch'. It automatically detects each memory type and adjusts the 1750 MHz and up straps with the bundled performance straps. PBE v1.6.3 and up adjusts the straps from 1500 MHz and up, but the 1750 MHz straps are more stable.

Hi Vann - Can you advise where i can find the "COMPUTE" (probably a screenshot). I have windows 10 64 bit professional edition with Crimson Relive 17.1X drivers from Aug 23 stock bios. Haven't used Polaris BIOS Editor though. Am trying to find COMUPUTE toggle in AMD Settings.

P.S: I have RX 580 Nitro+ Special Edition with Micron Memory (Blue one with Blue LED). Right now am getting 25 MH/s dual mining ETH and SIA without any modifications and Modding. Any advise on how to get it up to 30+ will be very helpful.

The latest AMD Adreniline drivers are the ones you want to use with Windows v1709. The compute toggle is is under AMD settings. You need to set it under each card and reboot for it to take effect.

https://youtu.be/xKlXDHdCtqM?t=12684

The lastest Polaris Bios Editor v1.6.6 'one click timing patch' worked very well for the latest Sapphire RX 580 Nitro+ RX 580 8GB card that came with Micron memory. It's been running very stable.

My friend have the card and he is getting 30.3 with it dual mining without any problem , My own 570 nitro + get the same results . Maybe try use DDU and reinstall AMD mining drivers and use windows fix after your flash your cards . And on the other point , Getting different results from the same card that have same memory is a normal thing . Out of 19 rx 570 we have ( all elpida memory ) only one of them can not get more than 1950 OC for memory the rest is stable at 2050 without any problem so I have all of them 30+ and only one 28.5+  , So getting different results even you have identical cards is normal .

Thanks Vann. I tried on time click patch and a few other mods posted on this forum and elsewhere and no matter what I can't get more than 24.5 Mh/s. Am dual mining ETH + SIA using Claymore 10.2
Do you think that might be an issue? What are the flags I need to set in Claymore?

I have uploaded my Stock ROM here. Anychance you can take a look. No worries if you can't. Thanks,

The Bios on your card appears identical to the Bios on the Nitro+ RX 580 8GB non-SE card with Micron memory I have. Both have the same checksum. I use the PBE 'one click timing patch' and it works for all of my cards. If it's not working check:

1/. You are using the AMD Aug. 23 blockchain drivers or the latest Adrenaline drivers with compute mode enabled.
2/. You have set virtual memory in Windows to at least 16GB for a six card rig.
3/. Check your clock speeds with HwInfo or GPU-Z. For the card to take advantage of the Bios timings, you need to overclock the card. For an RX 580 I use 1200 MHz core clock with a 2075-2250 MHz memory overclock, depending on the card.
4/. When dual mining, check the -dcri setting in the Claymore. You can adjust the value up or down manually with the "+/-" keys. Adjust it until the hash rate on the secondary coin increases without affecting the hash rate on ETH very much.

You were spot on mate. After sending you the message, i came across this article http://www.reddup.co/r/EtherMining/comments/7enbka/tutorial_how_to_successfully_mod_your_bios_amd?st=jayjycrk&sh=7a7ce2f8

The last line of the article said to reduce the -dcri to 1. When i did that, my hashrate went upto 32 mh/s for ETH but 10 Mh/s for SIA. I started playing around and at around -dcri of 20, though the SIA hashrate remains constant, ETH starts going down.

Right now at -dcri of 20, am getting ~30.5 for ETH and 600 for SIA which is optimal. I will keep play around a little bit and keep you and the forum posted.
Thanks again for your quick response and help.

If thats true, proper bios would probably give 33-34MH/s
