i really love what Charlie Lee (the creator and the head developer of litecoin) did in response to CW's false claims.
he simply signed a message from his publicly known keys and posted it on his twitter for EVERYONE to see and verify with their clients in a second!

he is still trolling CW too. latest tweet was:
"I pray to Satoshi that Craig Wright is not Satoshi."
Grin

I enjoyed this too, Charlie Lee is a funny guy at times.

Turned that video off after a few minutes, couldn't believe after all the hype from last time, all he needs to do is prove he's satoshi, so simple but he refuses to do so. Go figure.

Edit: Christ, just turned the video back on, thought he wanted out the spotlight back in 2015?  Tongue

A group of BTC and ETH colleagues and investors have just watched 'the future of Bitcoin'. Especially the self proclaimed inventor of Bitcoin himself Craig Wright. What a sickening and shoddy performance. And we are supposed to believe that this man after all his ranting and money problems is the inventor of the greatest living currency tool of freedom in  2000 years.

Why does this happen, after every few days he is not and can never Be satoshi. For the very simple fact he would not be roaming so freely that he is today, the government would have taken him long inside, he can try his level best but he can't fool me or the others who truly believe that he is not satoshi. I don't get it why would someone do this, to satoshi who sacrificed himself to save the future Bitcoins. Shame on this guy, he should be made to take the walk of shame (referring to got here).

This is not even suppose to be up for discussion. Anyone who believes CW is satoshi is apparently as dumb as CW himself.

It is very funny to see how he proclaimed to the world that he was the real Satoshi Nakamoto. But in the end he just made himself a fool when he failed to provide evidence that he is the real Satoshi Nakamoto. He just wanted to patent bitcoin so he can be very rich himself. And since he has lost the game he wants to come back by making a threat to the development in bitcoin. He is so desperate that he will do anything so he can come back to game. But in the end nobody believed him and once again he made himself a fool to the eyes of the public once again.

I am now convinced that Jon Matonis is convinced that Craig Wright is in fact Satoshi Nakamoto.

I don't care who is or who is not.

I m exited and see what solutions will come from any, helping make bitcoin that big that it cannot fail any more. And it was always my speech, it must be on chain first...

You must have missed his presentation yesterday. Do you think you know better than Jon Matonis?

Who is the real fool here?

The comments are more revealing than the video.

Well it does not matter if Satoshi Nakamoto is Craig Wright. Just like other groundbreaking and revolutionary inventions out there, most of its users does not give a d*mn who invented it. As long as the users can use it freely, the inventor will not matter to them.

Is it good to know who invented the thing/s you're using? YES
Is it necessary? NO

You do understand that bitcoin is under threat? So you think sitting back with your head in the sand is the solution?

I think Jon knows very well, that Craig is NOT Satoshi Nakamoto.

As for me - this is a very interesting topic. May be someone can find this topic to be foolish or useless, but it may be for those who are there for a long period of time. But I was a Newbie  just in May of this year and don't know about Bitcoin, Blockchain, Craig Wright andat lots of things at all. So it was interesting and informative to know about that guy due  to all this discussion. So, I am very thankful to everyone who was discussing this topic. Because for me, you may be laughing, but it is a new information. So thank you, guys)))

What's your point in still discussing this? This has been discussed plenty of times on the forum and no one believes that that poser is not Satoshi Nakamoto. If he was, then he could have already signed messages from all known addresses of Satoshi or he could have went online on the forums using his account here. But he hasn't and he refuses to do it.
The point of this thread is CW turned up today still proclaiming himself as Satoshi. Do you think that it right? Do you? Really?

Link would help.

Cointelegraph has reported  the story, and doesn't give a good write up for Craig Wright. It says he makes a lot of "claims", intimating they are all a load of crap. It says besides claiming he's Satoshi he "claims" he's controls a mining pool with 20% of all hash power.

I just saw the recent speech by Craig Wright on the so called "Future of Bitcoin" with Jon Matonis and other "nChain" members. I saw a lot of contradictions claimed by Wright, like saying his idea of massive block sizes is better and how the blockchain doesn't matter and you don't need to hold it, yet pretending if you don't hold the blockchain yourself you can be certain your money isn't manipulated. You can't make this up.

Just never mind the news, this subject has become a perfect topic for signature show offs. without a signed message from any address within the first 1000 bitcoin addresses (blocks) the whole world saying he's Satoshi it won't matter.
