I guess this can apply to day trading - but more so P&D's. I'm not trying to be specific here but could somebody explain to me how to buy on the dip? What do i look for on the order books?

If someone could explain how to buy on the dip it would be very much appreciated. Just trying to learn!

Go learn some basic TA. However even with basic TA it might only help you out 20-25% of the time. The rest is getting out when its not working.

its simple. take 1/10th of you money and invest 1-2 months.

learn what you have learned.

then take other part of your money and invest.

do not learn with 9/10.

tips:
- diversify
- sell the mania
- buy the depression
- bitcoin is the king
- icos <1% of your value
- avoid buy/dump icos (like eos) only do long term (like dcorp/tezos)
- read and read more

You could learn some techniques but again you nor any of us can predict how large the dip will be. When it starts you will see the panic sellers that will just make it larger. In my opinion you can't simply look for orders as far as I know some exchanges allow hidden orders which means that others are unable to see the sell and buy walls as they should be and also you can never be sure when will somebody with a huge stash decide to cash out of the particular coin.

I'd suggest that you just look at the charts 1st and don't invest but rather try to predict what will happen so hopefully you can get some idea how it can be played out

Understand that some alts can be manipulated easily with a low volume.

Buying on dip means purchase the coin or any asset when it will go down to a possible price level. If the price of a coin now $5 and may go down in a short period at a possible price range of $2-$3 then wait for buying the coin in between 2 or 3 dollar.

Buying when the coin is in bloodbath is a good way of making profit. But you need to know which coin is the right to make our investment. If you are good enough to make the perfect prediction then it's one of the best way to profit. In my view such a knowledge is possible only through long term experience.

I don't  know why some people who have ķ good knowledge of trading always don t want to help the newbies whenever they ask for help, but they keep frustrating the effort of a newbie by telling him to go and learn or do this or that, buying deep to my understanding is buying any coins of your choice according to your own research when the price is down, just for example bitcoin was high up to 3000 dollar and when the price is down to 2000 you can buy when you think the price will be high again up to 3000 or more, that mean, buying at a lower price

Buying deep means purchasing at a low price. If you look at the price chart of a coin you will see that the price usually floats around a certain range. Once the price goes lower than that price range it floats at then it is the time to purchase coins.

The challenge is every coin has its own dip, the first step is understanding charting. I recommend watching some youtube videos on breaking down stock charts. This will provide a foundation for you plan. However, crypto plays by its own rules, Bitcoin tends to be the most consistent for me in terms of charts, but it even bucks the trends because a ton of people are investing and their plays are not always logical. In other words, charting works best when a lot of people are using it, if no one uses charts it becomes even more unpredictable. Get familiar with how to look at moving averages and as more bots come into play Fibonacci patterns start to become more evident. Always understand what should happen is not always what does happen. Never invest more than you can lose. Find some trading groups on Slack (not pumping) and just listen/ask questions. You will find the most successful are holding some coins, and usually have FIAT on hand to take advantage of movement. Message me and I can point you in the direction of some good videos and some Slack groups if you like.

first target 1 or two coins and see charts and visit coin market cap and how far it can be dropped you must decide which price it can be dumped and then put buy order at that price and wait few hours.most of coins dumping 2-3$  daily if there is no reason to dump you can catch those dips and buy always remember to reduce exchange fee from your total profit
