I recently made a "purchase" from the site Bitcoinware.net. It was stated my order was on backorder and it would ship out in a couple weeks. It didn't and after numerous emails that went unreplied to they finally replied to a refund request. I then received an email stating that I had been refunded my money, only the refund has never arrived. Nice. And again numerous unanswered emails.

They only take cryptocoin and electronic money transfer if you live in Canada. They only way to contact them is through email. No address, no phone.

I no longer expect to get my money back and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you do NOT do business with this "company"' if you can call it that.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I can confirm that they offer crap service, but in the end I did receive my product.

I ordered 6 risers, and after that emailed repeatedly asking for an update as they claimed that the orders would be shipped same day.....In the end I received them 3 weeks later (I could have driven to them in 8hrs)

They only replied to me once they knew the delivery had been made. Total crap service, and would highly recommend avoiding them, but not a 100% "scam" site.

If they are selling hardware then they should have a physical address or location where you can visit them,I will never deal with a site that does not have an address or location that you can locate this is another way to prove that they are scam they are not a registered company because they don't have an offline store .

Did some research on this and this is what I found:

Bitcoinware.net appears to be legit
Bitcoinware.shop appears to be a scam

The latter site appears to mimic the former site.
These are separate websites with different prices, and people seem to refer to them interchangeably.
The .shop site lists the antminer S9 for about $1000 lower than the .net site.

I haven't found any info, reviews, or correlation on the .shop site, but my belief is that customers are confusing the potential fraudulent nature of one site for the other.
I haven't seen any other information or warnings on bitcoinware.shop so I just wanted put this out there in case it helps.

Any thoughts?

Unfortunately, because we paid in BitCoin. The money is gone.
I filed with the following:
https://www.usa.gov/stop-scams-frauds

And I also reported them to Coinbase. We will see what happens.

I ended up losing through bitcoinware.shop, but bought through www.CryptoMiningKing.com (PayPal Protected).

Good Luck and happy mining!
