Isn't this the same thing reddcoin does? I think you won't be able to get the users to install an addon in their browser just to be able to use this coin. Reddcoin already showed this can't work

REDD is dying. been years and since late June, its on the way back to cave. My portfolio already 60% down on REDD. What a let down.

LIKES need to be more creative.

This won't work, if it's addon based it won't work. If it's integrated into each platform then it won't work either because facebook and co would just tell them to fuck off.

Don't be too negative about it, if facebook and co would just shun then either Likes can create its own social media project or go to somebody else. Tagged.com and other websites has its own in-site currency, we can eventually change it with Likecoins or make it tradable in Likecoins.

Well, my words may come off very harsh, but it's really not going to work. It's pretty much the copy of an already dead coin. Facebook might just make it's own coin and add it to facebook, instagram and whatsapp.

I am curious, as a bitcoin beginner or altcoin beginner. What do you always mean by "Source"? What is it? And why is it important for altcoin supporters to ask for that? Without it what does it mean?

And that "source" can be used to create new altcoins? or only helps to further develop the existing mechanisms of likecoin? Like for example if a coin goes dead with no news from developer, another can get the source and modify likecoin or he can somehow "resurrect" that coin from being dead?

You can back read through the posts and it was mentioned that one of the plan is to add an exchange for this coin. But we just need to wait. Read the old posts.
