Why isn't my total time logged in increasing?

I've been on the forums the past 2 days logged in and I still only have 1 hour total logged in, with 0 minutes. It hasn't moved at all. When will I be able to post in the main forums?

I think you need to be actively browsing. Not sure how it detects activity but leaving the page open idle for a long time didn't work for me.

You need to be actively reading / replying. If you just open the website & leave it there, the time will stop ticking.

I've heard this system can be beaten by having autorefresh on, which I think is kind of a silly flaw.

yea i dont get this either i've spent forever, like nearly a month (albeit only so much at a time, but nonetheless) on this site and it has me at 2 hours.

As people suggested, it may be an anti-idle system

No comments over how many minutes, it automatically exits or is not online

I went to the index and jumped pages 10 or 15 times every once and awhile.  It still took over 24 hours in front of the computer

I think if you leave it idle for more than 5 mins it stops counting.
