Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

This could've happened to any BTC Exchange. 1 targeted attack (Google it) against an admin is all it takes...

depends on if, allowing a third party auditor access to TOO MUCH DATA, is enough in their minds to warrant "take backs".

It's easy to hurt companies these days by hacking them, it's just how the company deals with it, that keeps their clients.
But to destroy a company into oblivion, giving it and along with it each and every person of the company a really bad rep,
takes merely a few burned clients.

Among the maxims on Lord Naoshige's wall,
there was this one:

"Matters of great concern should be treated lightly."
Master Ittei commented,
"Matters of small concern should be treated seriously."

I not only can't wait to start using them again, but now am in two other markets thanks to this incident.  I hope more markets start too.

Hydra this shit up, more firms, more minds out there focused on security, no centralization, just centralized focus on a secure Bitcoin Smiley
