I don't think so Firstly and secondly put it in speculation board. There may be some fall but not to 1000$, that's ridiculous. It may also happen that the prices shoot up you never know Bitcoins can be completely unpredictable. If the community reaches a concession than there is no spilt and then suddenly the prices shoot up. I do hope there is no spilt, but even if it does happen the price shall not take a nosedive of 1000$. 200 - 300$ maybe. That's my prediction so far, don't think anything below than this and positive it won't go below than this.

With all the talk about August the first and now Craig Wright nonsense, who knows what could happen.

I look at the charts more than the fundermentals, but I think $1900 is likely sooner rather than later. If it breaks that, then who knows?

I think it certainly falls below $2,000 in the not-so-distant future. As for $1,000, difficult to say, but it did fall all the way from $1,200 to $200 before, so it could certainly happen.

I don't believe that the price of bitcoin will fall to 1000 USD because the only thing that i see right now is a bear market where people are selling their coins and trying to avoid more losses but the thing is, they don't know that it is just a trap and soon the market will recover and price will go up again and those who have strong hands will only make money from  the bear market.

But my answer for your question is pretty simple I really think that it wouldn't fall back in $1,000 per Bitcoin maybe it could be down to $1,800 I think it would be the lowest price that it could go down.

I agree. I see no reason why the price would go back to 1000$, except if there was a single entity that is at the origin of the 1000$>3000$ price rise that sold all its holdings. And we perfectly know that is not the case.

Actually yes bitcoins can fall to $1000 because bitcoin's price is always fluctuating every time but it will not be $1000 right now because bitcoins was popular, many people who invested in bitcoins include corporations and there are some countries that support bitcoins for payment method and currency, also the Dev are working hard to make bitcoins be better in the future and easy to be used, that's mean the fundamental of bitcoins is strong every days.

Actually franky1's advice is pretty good.

First, NO ONE knows what will happen (other than perhaps a few connected insiders -- this is true of almost any market, no one knows what will happen in the future).

IMO, a lot will depend on how the scaling problem is resolved (or not).  If the solution is seen as rather acceptable to most, BTC could go very high.  If there is a bad solution (or no solution), well...

But, Bitcoin price will do what it will do.  Either HODL and try not to worry, or if you speculate "buy low, sell high".

It's highly unlikely for BTC to tumble that much though anything is possible in the crypto world. We might see a slight fall then a rebound to $3000 and above by the end of the year.

Hmm.. it is possible I guess. If Bitcoin can fall from $1,250 to $200, then it is quite possible that it can fall from $3,000 to $1,000 (or even lower). But in 2014, the circumstances were quite different. A lot of users were storing their coins in the exchange sites and that enabled crooks such as Mark Karpeles to steal them. What happened with Mt Gox is certainly not going to repeat. But there is always a chance of something else happening.

Possible but I'm seeing it more possible that it will go back at $3,000 and we are going to see it at the peak of $4,000 -$5,000 before 2018. Lets say it will be back at $1,000 but it will be good and stable again at $2,000 just like whats happening for today.
