I think it is possible the value of BTC falls down to $1000 again.
It all depends on trades volume. If you read bitcoin networks have raised fee per transaction, so there are chances people leave buying more bitcoins and the value will go down.

You never know what will happen with bitcoin. The price was $2900 + recently and if you look at a the graph from 6th of June then it had one big and then the current dump. This might get stable as it has fallen a way lot from the highest peak. So it may reach 1800 dollar or near but not below than that. And a piece of advice, if it happens then just buy of it! :-)

I respect that, we never know what will happen with bitcoin price, until now price movement surprised me many times. But in the end bitcoin price is keep rising and after every fall we see bitcoin stronger, that needs to mean something. Even if more then half of the people in this thread believe that price can fall on 1000 dollars, I doubt in that, maybe we will see 2000 more or less but not below that, we are on the half of the year and so many things happened for bitcoin and many more good event are coming, maybe its weird but bitcoin have more chances to go up then down. |

Not unless a disaster of some kind happens to bitcoin, probably the option that could crash the price and that has the biggest chance of happening at the moment is the hard fork proposed by the miners, but I think at the end they are going to understand they are going to shoot themselves in the foot if they do it. |

It will be a large dump if it will happen.. but i think the price won't dump a large price like your prediction its not a crisis many people are always buying bitcoin once they seen the price of bitcoin is really cheap more investors are willing to buy cheap price that can be still push the price back and increase its value.. but this coming august i really don't think so if the price of bitcoin will remain the same or the price can be increase more or we will experience of large dump. but i still believe that bitcoin can increase value and segwit can give us a good result remember 80% of miner are agree about segwit activation and i think they are not let bitcoin down because this is the only source of their investment.
So there are no exact what will happen in bitcoin but more possibility couldn't be happen the price fall in $1000 value.

Seems Bitcoin is solving its problems pretty fast lately. Lowest fees went to 10 cents. Lets hope future problems will be solved faster. $1000 seems quite low right now. sum $2000 not that low. |

No. Unless there was something catastrophic that happened to bitcoin overnight i don't think this is possible to happen at all. Even a hard fork won't bring down bitcoin's value to $1000. The price floor is set at $2000. A couple of big dumps a few weeks ago that made bitcoin go all the way down to $2300, and then a bunch of whales I suspect just came in and bought a lot of coins. This has shown through the stability of bitcoin for almost a week now, hovering around $2500. If it ever does get to $1000, it will be a great time to buy in, that's for sure. |

It is a natural rule that everything in the world is open to a positive or a negative change. But there is a reason for everything. Right now there is no reason for the bitcoin price to fall to even 2000$. The bitcoin business is growing day by day and nothing seems to stop it. So it doesn’t seem possible for bitcoin to have low price in future. |

How you can predict that bitcoin will not fall to 1000 USD because of only people knowing Bitcoin and many thousand of people using it. No one can predict correct price of bitcoin, it may be fall to 1000 USD or maybe not. And 1st AUG is not so far. Currently people are predicting bitcoin prices with the benchmark segwit2x or 1 august because segwit2x is expected to be implemented on that date. I also predict if bitcoin prices will not fall to 1000$ because I'm sure bitcoin prices will continue to increase despite fluctuations continuing and very hard but bitcoin prices will not fall to 1000$ again. |

I do not think so. Because if bitcoin drops to $ 1000 it is too significant in my opinion, bitcoin has indeed experienced a significant decrease at the beginning of its journey, but it is because at that time people's confidence in bitcoin is still low, and certainly different from now. Today many people have fully believed in bitcoin as a digital currency by investing and trading with it. But indeed bitcoin could have decreased in price, and my prediction of the decline is not up to $ 300.

I see the prospect of bitcoin now is very good. So I guess bitcoin will be able to maintain the minimum price as it happens today. Bitcoin prices will increase and I am pessimistic the price could fall to 1000USD. Because bitcoin is the digital currency that became penomenal and is currently in demand by many people. |

I don't think bitcoin would ever loose it market value to the turn of $1000, but If it eventually happen that will create an avenue for investor like myself to buy more and hold pending when the market value increase. But I believe time will come when bitcoin price will decline below $2,100 but it would not last up to 24 hours before it bounce back.

Generally fluctuations will really happen by the time of value declining and we experienced that most of the time. If that's what you are thinking of below $2100 but not to the possibility of $1000. It will only happen if there is a huge panic sells in the market that would possibly take down the price of bitcoin itself. Eventually price will bounce back after several dumps so we need not to expect that $1000 fall, and I believe there were more who will back back after price falls again. |
