Does anybody have a rough estimate how many users exists of all coins (Bitcoins plus all Altcoins)?
I know nobody knows the exact value - but is there any estimation on this?

Thank you.
If I get this right then they come to 3 Mln because they also took a look at 35 Mln wallets and figured out if these wallets where actually used (beside other inputs). I do not know how to see if a wallet is active or not. Neither do I know how they got to 35 Mln wallets - how do you count this?
However, let us say there are 3 Mln users worldwide - taking the toal number of inhabitants of the whole world into account I would say there is still potential to grow ...

You are not limited to one wallet per person And yes, lot of growth potential! Think of all the third world countries, like what happened with telephone communication (skipping landlines and going straight to mobile phones) this can be a major leap to. A lot of people don't have access to a bank account but they do have an internet connection. Imagine the possibilities!

There are some cases where you don't need statistical research. Very few "normals" are in Bitcoin and blockchain, tons of room to grow

you should only find the number of bitcoin users because that is the dominating number and then add something like 0.5% to 1% to it to get the total number of users of bitcoin plus altcoins since nobody outside of bitcoin users knows or uses altcoins.

If you can calculate the number of people using bitcoin, then the same will be the count for the number of people using all other coins. In my view bitcoin users have the experience of using at least few other coins. In terms of percentage it might be around 3-5% on the whole.

In future, the number of users cryptocurrency (not only Bitcoin) will be much more than the present. The main reason if Bitcoin or other crytocurrency can fixed all issue about blockchain and system, this coin can replace the old system payment at now as bank or visa/mastercard in our life.
Most important, need government accept cryptocurrency for use as digital cash

I think the real number is less than one million. Many may have set up a wallet of some sort and may even hold some coin/tokens, but actually users/traders are few and far between.

I just think about.. why I have to know how many people are using cryptocurrencies? Is that will give an impact to my wallet? I don't think so. The most important thing right now is just make cryptocurrencies more familiar to all people in the whole world. Start with asking your neighbors, if they still don't know about bitcoin, then you'll know how popular is cryptocurrencies.

That is in fact true. Rather finding the statistics about how many people are already in, we have to popularize and let others know about the features of crypto currencies. Dont forget that it will be beneficial to us at the end. Almost every altcoin trader is a bitcoin enthusiast at the beginning so everyone here is countable.

For me (as the OP) it is not the question of the impact of my wallet. I just try to imagine of: - how high is the marketcap of cryptocoins in contrast to "normal" money - how high is the number of users Both help me to understand how high the potential for cryptocoins in future could be. And yes you are right: Start talking with neighbors and colleagues about crytocoins.
