Hi, I'm very new to btctalk, fairly new to bitcoin in general.
I've been doing some research on exchanges and wondered the best way to transfer money between them.

Any suggestions on transfer methods?

Thanks so much! Glad to be here.

You might check www.bitinstant.com (AlexaRank - 55,657, PR - 5)

Edit: also try www.aurumxchange.com (AlexaRank - 66,440, PR - 3)

Personally never used them, but think they are trusted

There's an interesting development: http://ripple.com
It's currently in beta, and I would not trust it with significant amounts of *coins, but I think it's worthwhile to learn about their concepts for easy interconnection of exchanges.

Quite easy, you acquire bitcoins and withdraw to your target exchange. Hope it helps.

Thanks onkelpaul, diceitbig, those are a very good start.
Paraipan - Very obvious  Wink
I was looking more for advice on how to transfer fiat currencies between exchanges.

ACH transfer is cheap, but slow.
Bitinstant is fast but pricey.
Dwolla - medium and medium?

Other ideas?

If you're going between MtGox and btc-e, it looks like you can use AurumXchange vouchers?
See https://www.aurumxchange.com/rates.
I've not ever done this myself.
