hey guys,

Happy 4th of July to the US citizens!

We currently operate not the most popular yet but the most convenient bitcoin exchange service in the Ukraine. We have great experience in exchange services so we used all our knowledge.

We do not require any verifications, checks and sign ups. The procedure takes only 1 click. And we have the best rates. You can check by yourself - https://xbtc.com.ua/

So, we have long-term plans and we want to build a wallet app built on the same principles. It will be easy-to-use, without unnecessary verifications and with the lowest fees on the market. And it will be international.

What we need from you are your ideas. Maybe, you want to use some specific feature - feel free to post it in this thread. We want to collect ideas/features requests to consider them at the beginning as it will be easier to implement them from scratch rather than changing the code in future.

Oh, one more thing. I don't believe in any crowdfunding but nevertheless - 112h2xLaWw22X1Cs2PvLrWhTjdMNLQyTyi yeah, 150-200 btcs will allow us to start the development process asap definitely lol.

Thanks a lot for your help.
Best regards,
Slow death

The site is very beautiful, but you do not intend to include several languages?

I particularly have difficulties navigating your site because I do not understand anything

We have one language because we are currently operating only in Ukrainian market.

There's no sense in adding additional languages because our reserves are not sufficient to satisfy international demand plus there's no need in exchanges in the US, for example as you simply can buy btc with your paypal or credit card using Coinbase for example.

But there's no ideal wallet on the market now so that's why we want to scale and enter the international market with an outstanding user experience. But we are on a planning stage currently as wallet development needs some decent amount of resources.

So you left your address here thinking people would donate money just like that ? Not sure what were you hinting at but it was subtle. Smiley

Maybe, it depends on a display but your complaint is the second one we received for the entire time of operation  Smiley We tried to make it similar to the corporate color of the main UA bank we are working with - https://privatbank.ua/

About the address - my key necessity at the moment is to collect features experienced users want to see in their 'dream' wallet. Of course, we do need money, but the address is just as an addition. Of course, I'm not thinking anyone will send there anything.

You really should translate the website to English if you want your website to be a option. Maybe hire a translator?

So, let me see if I understood. You already have a functional website and now you are looking to expand your services and make a wallet? Is this going to be a online wallet or a offline software like Electrum and Mycelium? Also, is Nextgen going to be the name of your wallet or are you trying to say this is going to be the "next generation" web wallet? (lol)

Here a few key features your wallet should have:
- allow user to set a custom fee
- store multiple assets (ltc, eth, dash...)
- 2FA (if a web wallet)

P.s: If you want people to invest in your project, make a proper announcement, find some trusted users to escrow and show your ideas. No one is going to send you money that easy.

At least somebody understood my needs partially  Smiley

Thanks, noted but that's too trivial.

No, we do not need any translators as I showed this website just so you understand I'm not a newbie. The wallet will not be affiliated with this website.

The wallet will be online. I wrote 'nextgen' because it will be something absolutely new among existing wallets.

Thanks for your tips, I will it in that way in case we will be looking for funds through crowdfunding seriously.

Views from your site are good, and web loading data is also light. But it seems your main language is russia. It would be better if you provide several languages for capital countries that have many users coin.

My friend also has a web like this but basicnya use altcoin lumens.

Hey guys, thank you for your reviews but please don't look at that website Smiley I showed it just to prove that I'm not a newbie in a cryptobusiness.

Our wallet will be a completely different website with a different name etc. But it will be also easy-to-use.

So looking forward to your features requests.

First and most important it has to be open source.

Furthermore I think it would be awesome if you have a plugin system, so everybody gets what he needs out of the wallet.
The basic wallet should be like bitcoin core (the functionality, without commands, only gui) and it should be user friendly.
BUT then the ability to get some plugins would be really nice because, for people which use btc only as payment and don´t want complicated stuff, the basic verion should fit, but for geeks there could be plugins.

Possible plugins:
  • Blockexplorer
  • Altcoins
  • Vanity address generator
  • Extra encryption
  • Autobackup to encrypted cloud
  • HD wallet words (like those from electrum)
  • integrated exchange (no need for a website, very convinient)
  • integrated coinmap, where can I spend my coins ?
  • Multisigwallet and multisending (send from one address to 10 different adresses, differentamounts)

Not a plugin but support for at least Windows, Linux, OSX, Android, IOS

and I am sure there are many more things  Cheesy

Thanks! Definitely like this! Will discuss with guys.

We want to start with an app to use a wallet on the go.

And one more thing, guys, if we do an ICO with whitepapers, roadmap means as it should be done. Would you take part in it? Just checking what possible users think.

In my opinion you should bring your wallet out for at least one mobile and one non mobile platform. I would suggest Android and Windows or Linux.

There should be an option to share some adresses between the PC and the mobile, but there should be an option for not shatring it.
F.e. all normal addresses are available on PC and mobile, but the adress "Savings" is only available on PC (priv key, you could monitor it on mobile) for obvious reasons.

Why Android, not iOS?

You mean web version is the 'main' version and you can grant some addresses to mobile versions but you cannot spend your main 'Savings' address with your phone, right? That's for safety purposes?

Android over IOS, because of personal prefernce, but not only that, I think android is more dev friendly and generally more popular among geeky people (who use BTC). Also I suggested you start with it, in the progress of development you should of course expand to IOS too.

There should be no "main" version. Every platform and version should be equal, to sync between the devices I would suggest backing up to a cloud, not your cloud, because you would have a lot priv keys on one centralized server, but every user has his own backup on his f.e. google drive, of course encrypted (You may have a look at Boxcryptor).

If a user considers his PC at home as the safest place, he could have one address called "savings" there to prevent that he carries around (mobile phone) a lot of money. Althrought I have to say choosing "savings" as an example here was a bad idea, because for saving I definitely recommend a paper wallet. And yes for safety.

A web version has it´s advantages, but you (your company/organisation or wahtever) should not be in the possesion of the private keys, I don´t know how to solve this. Conclusion: Don´t do a web wallet  Cheesy

Lol, caught it about Android and iOS Smiley

Regarding the webversion and phone - isn't it simpler to add some security features for the phone version, for example, touch id verification for outgoing transactions? We think basically to start with an app and then move to other versions/platforms.

Of course you can, but f.e. I will never use a wallet which is
  • not open source
  • where I am not in posession of the priv keys

Starting with a mobile version is not a bad idea, but the next platform should be for a PC OS.

If you want to go with the plugin system, I think is would be quite nice if you have a biometric security plugin, which can f.e. use the touch-id feature of your mobile phone.

Regarding security, you always have to choose between convinience and security.
I think a layer system would be quite handy here like
  • tx up to 25$, 4 digit pin/fingerprint
  • tx up to 250$, 8 digit pin/fingerprint
  • tx up to 1000$ 4 digit pin + fingerprint or masterkey
  • etc...

This could be configurable by the user, and of course you could make this a plugin.

I really like the plugin system because:
1. Makes the application complexity to a minimum and you only have what you need
2. If someone findes an exploit in f.e. plugin nr. 5, only users with this plugin are affected
3. Don´t know how you handle this, but there is the possibility to let users code plugins -> users are happy about the possibility and you get another "free" feature for your wallet

We like plugins system also, developers will have the last word Smiley

I'm only not sure about the open source project. What cons are you seeing in the open-source model? Why it's a dealbreaker for you?

as far as I know, there aren't a lot of opensource wallets. And especially web platforms.

I think that is a nice site. unless my questions are about that you said "not requiere any verification, checks and sign us".
If you are so experience in exchange services how will you built asecure wallet app to us?  it's not enough it will be easy to use  it's need to be secure to use it.  Huh Huh
