Recent development if LTC shows it capability as a long lasting giant in the market
eth has been suffering from its vulnerability of its network and ICOs

Would LTC take over ETH and be a new giant under the king BTC?

LTC will rise even more, and now is almost double in price in BTC comparison, which is not the case with ETH. My only conclusion LTC can easily jump much more but ETH agonize now to keeps its position and probably will start to decline this summer.

both are good,, LTC is the silent giant and the transactions is fast also has limited supply
ethereum is a good platform that used by a lot of token, and a lot of new good project use it..
so split your investments on eth and ltc besides BTC  Wink

I moved all my eth into ltc last week when ltc was around £29 seems like eth may lose its spot to ltc if enough big players switch from eth to ltc

Both are good but they are very different to compete I think?

it is always about timing.
back when ethereum hype was just starting and the ICOs were beginning to come out and cause the fake demand then it was a good investment to buy it. but now that ICOs are selling all their tokens and price is falling and hype is fading it is not good at all.
now all that money is going into other markets and most traders choose the bigger markets like litecoin.

LTC. There is no doubt.

I think it takes long time for LTC to take over ETH as Ethereum market cap is about 10 times more than Litecoin market cap.
In my opinion, ETH will rise in value again. but it doesn't have the potential which LTC has. There are some problems like the ones you mentioned with Ethereum that prevent it from rising in value as much as Litecoin will rise.

Ethereum might reach 1000 dollar( 4 times the current price) But LTC has the potential to reach 500 dollar (10 times the current price) at the same time.

i see ltc will make it some good chances to surpass eth and move along closer with btc as we knew that ltc is really a back up to btc and with same format and some big players from china for sure they will try to hype this coin and earn a lot from the market, lets just wait and see the result.

Both coins are considered long-term coins, both of which are always in the top 10 of the highest volume.ltc technically the analysis in this week is near the point of resistance and the possibility of a very large drop. While the ETH approaches its support point with a 200% price drop and will Reversal occurs.

I suspect you hold some ETH.... Your "technicals" are so obviously biased. Now go and hold your ETH tokens to oblivion.

Etherium might have the bigger potential but it's crap right now. It's super overpriced right now. Why? I'd wait for the price to correct first before touching Eth.

I think ltc has opportunity to grow more than ETH now.
But ETH has a great community and backed by giant company.
So in my opinion Ltc now.

I always think that LTC will rise up as the hardfork comes to near, but comparing ETH or LTC which you should invest with. I prefer to invest on both since they are two different coins.

ETC will overtake both.
This is highly possible, and only because it is unspoiled from the start and can be pumped to ETH values. In evry case it is wise to keep few, just in case.
I think ltc has opportunity to grow more than ETH now.
But ETH has a great community and backed by giant company.
So in my opinion Ltc now.
Correct LTC can be 0.1 very easily, and recent rise will crush all doubts.
I always think that LTC will rise up as the hardfork comes to near, but comparing ETH or LTC which you should invest with. I prefer to invest on both since they are two different coins.
Or even better try to follow whales and sell when they are selling..

Really hard to speculate but for now buying ltc may be a 50% risk as the price had a huge increase in a short period and many must be in a profit by now so maybe a small dump can be on the way. On other hand eth just fell significantly so it will take at least a month or even more for the price to recover. I would go with eth for long term and ltc for short term.

I see that LTC doesn't have bugs, just because it's not so busy like eth. I don't believe ltc will overtake eth.

I think both are good for holding long term but LTC should have a greater percentage rise
in price since it market cap is about 12% of ETH.

LTC has great future for sure but will it overcome ETH, no idea. Both are good investment choices tho.
