Currently the price of bitcoin and some altcoin is declining, as far as I know if the price drop is good to buy. But actually do not have to buy bitcoin and convert it to altcoin, because just buy bitcoin it is good. Maybe my question why should convert to altcoin? Maybe you can explain it. Becase just buy and hold it I think it's a good choice, but it does not matter if convert it to altcoin because it's everyone's choice.

It's a good time to buy bitcoin and hold them. Don't convert your bitcoin to coins such as waves and ripple. They don't worth it. Just hold your bitcoins. I am sure that bitcoin will rise in value soon after more than a month stability ( Note that changes up to 10 percent are normal in cryptocurrencies).
I think demands for buying bitcoins will increase after Bitcoin SegWit Activation August 1 and solving the problems such as transaction times and this will cause the price to rise. So now it's a good time to buy bitcoin.
About converting your bitcoins to altcoins I should say that converting some amounts of your bitcoins to coins such as Litecoin and Ethereum might be a good choice. They worth it. They have the potential to rise more than bitcoin however it is difficult to predict. Forget about waves and ripple.

yes,, you must have some BTC first to buy altcoin,,
and after you have some BTC on your wallet,, send it to an exchange such as bittrex or poloniex
when your deposited is showing in your account balance , you can convert your BTC with altcoins,, maybe ripple, ltc or others

Thanks. As for the first time  i am going to invest small amount as $50. That is why i thought about cheap alt coins.
