Just a warning.  This guy contacted me about selling me a phone I had requested on the forums, and was very kind and always quick to communicate.  He said that he would be able to get it to me, shipped from Russia.  I replied along the lines of "fantastic, how much, and please send me a list of users or services you would be willing to use for escrow if you don't want to use XXXX or XXXX" (people I trust and have used for escrow in the past).  Since then he has not communicated with me at all.  I am by no means saying he is scamming anybody, but his behavior is awkward enough, especially given his former quick communications, and the fact that he's been online often since my last few messages-- all that is enough to make me feel like I should at least tell others that this has been my experience.  If you do business with him, I would recommend requiring escrow.

Dacentec, best deals for US dedicated servers. They regularly restock $20-$25 Opterons with 8-16GB RAM & 2x1-2TB HDD's (ofc, usually lots of other good stuff to choose from).  I did a Serverbear benchmark of one of my $20/mo Opteron (June last year), it's here.  Have had about a half dozen different servers with Dacentec, & none have failed to sustain at least 40MB/s (burst higher). My favorite is a 12-month rent-to-own ZT Systems 2XL5520 16GB 2x2TB SATA for $40/month (got lucky with the 'off-brand', haven't seen a RTO 2xL5520 for under $50/mo since -- at least for monthly contracts).  wholesaleinternet.com has some ancient 2-core intel CPUs @ $10/mo sometimes (I got an Intel Core 2 6300 @ 1.86GHz, with a 250GB HDD with 46000 hours on it, LOL. $20 @ Dacentec is much better, if you can grab one). joesdatacenter.com (same location as Wholesale Internet) also occasionally has specials (or if you don't want to wait, it has an AMD Opteron 170 @ $16/mo).

He's just got far too few posts. This indicates that he's not investing much time into actually contributing to the forum, the fact that he immediately jumps to the marketplace section is suspicious enough.

I'll offer 1.2BTC shipped to U.K. Though I will only send to a good escrow or on receipt of card and testing has been done.

oh, it's true he's in russia.  so, if it is legit, then the whole newegg is cheaper stuff doesnt apply.

so could be a good deal, i don't know the prices in that region of the world  Grin    i guess probably massive tariffs and/or shipping costs from newegg?

He refused escrow with me and claimed I was going to scam him by using it.
