[general] Participating in PoS ?

I've been trying to understand PoS better but I can't figure out one thing: I have my qt wallet of some random, cheap PoS coin (just to test it out), but I can't seem to find a way to "transfer" or "reserve" or w/e the coins to the "stake" wallet... how does one do that?

yeah, helped, thanks! I did all of that, I just didn't know my coins aren't "mature" yet
