For those into gambling have you ever tried to took some medicine just to control your impulsive gambling? Like the Magic Bottle? Just like the others, I have never ever tried taking a medicine just to prevent myself from being greedy when playing. To be honest, this is the first time that I have heard that such medicine for impulsive gambling exist. Playing gambling is really fun and exciting but it can also make people greedy in playing again and again. It is not just in gambling, because there are also other things that we get addicted and we all know the feeling of holding yourself to do it or to have it. The feeling is the same of being addicted to gambling which is very hard as well as avoiding and preventing yourself to play whenever you want to. I don’t think that we need a medicine to control ourselves in playing. If such medicine does exist, I believe that it would just convince other people to try gambling and don’t be afraid of getting addicted to it because there is a prevention.

For those into gambling have you ever tried to took some medicine just to control your impulsive gambling? Like the Magic Bottle? I don't have problems as a gambler, I don't do it that often and is just a healthy hobby to me. So no, I never took any meds because of gambling. I didn't knew some guys did that, and I hope they only do it if they are prescript by a doctor. If someone search for those by themselves they could end up addicted to gambling and drugs, and that doesn't look like a good scenario.

You do not require any medicine to control the gambling. Its in build and if you are smart enough to differentiate gambling as a entertainment source and playing only for profit will decide your future. The first one will make you having a great life with no stress of getting addicted and second will lead only to addiction.

I don't think any medication will work for an addiction of gambling. I have heard there are some which one of my friends took but it didn't affected much for him. Only you should understand the negativity of gambling and leave nothing else will make you..

I think worst comes to worst, a medicine would be somewhat effective to a pathological gambler. But the question is what happens if you stop taking this meds? Will your urge to gamble goes back? I guess it will not be effective or it make act as placebo only. Although I haven't meet someone who is taking one, but I speculate it won't be that effective. And besides, what are the side effects of it? Its a more of a mental, so if you want to really quit then fight the urge and make yourself busy with other things that will take away your mind with gambling. You don't need any medicines to help you.

Yes there is no medicine for gambling addiction, we have a therapy for this addiction, and it takes few months to complete this therapy. But after completing this therapy also they will not give us 100% assurance that it's cured. Use any therapy or follow any methods finally your self control will make you stop gambling. If you can not control your feelings, any therapy will not help you to stop gambling addiction.

I never thought that there is something that can cure impulsive gambling. It's a mental problem so I guess you need psychological treatment and medicines aren't going to work out. You only need counseling and anything that's related to proper control of your emotion which can be done by those experts.

usually the medicine to control the people who became an addicted only available on rehabilitation center and i don't know if these medicine exist or not but if they're really exist i think only for those who became heavy addicted already trying that but fortunately i wasn't ever try it before
In my opinion, there is existing meds for treating addiction problem. This medicine is same as morphine that used to calm the patient. Gambling addiction might lead to serious disorder once it is not treat early. Many says that it is not a big deal but in reality this cause a total devastation on a life of a person just like what on the resort world manila philippines. As far as I know, gambling addiction can be worst than being a druggie. For impulsive gambling, I suggest you to consult Physicians as they are the only people who's got the right to give prescriptions.

Impulsive gambling = uncontrollable urges and desires of your mind, there are some medical products which will affect your brain and make you desireless. But it really worth it to become a hollow man just to not feel the urges and emotions? If you seriously think of using meds to help you fight with addiction then you need serious help anyway. Isn't it far better to understand and control the process of addiction, learn how to keep your emotion under control?

For those into gambling have you ever tried to took some medicine just to control your impulsive gambling? Like the Magic Bottle? If anyone takes any drug to combat impulsive gambling and it works, the best answer to the cure will be some kind of placebo effect, gambling is not like a physical addiction like smoking and alcoholism to be treated.

I think when someone has serious addiction problems and it is psychological then they would need to see a doctor who would prescribe them medicine. This is very extreme but sometimes extreme times call for extreme measures.

I don't think a doctor will prescribe you a medicine to take in. I guess they are going to suggest something that you haven't done before. They will advise you to do something like activities or other things that can help you to forget that you are an impulsive gambler.

Nope. I prefer that you should go to the doctor for he prescribe you right medicine or advise you that you need to do to control impulsive gambling but you can do by yourself you just need a diversion like doing outdoor sports getting family time or something else except gambling.

I guess medicines such as this only go to people who are so addicted and obssessed with gambling. Also i think it is not just some plain doctor but a psychologist that prescribes you this as it is mostly mental and a disorder that leads to this kind of addiction

It just needs some change of habit especially a self control or some peers who will help those who are goin through such addiction. There is no medication to intake.

I can't imagine what medicine would be appropriate to cure from impulsive gambling. Most likely turning your attention to another interesting activity is the best medicine indeed.

Other than effectiveness of medicines for preventing gambling addictions, we must consider what are the side effects one gambler may face for taking medicines for this reason. I mean to say this will lead to unnecessary complications which are health based which must be worst than what are problems we are facing due to gambling. Honestly I will not recommend going for medicines for this purposes but going for the rehabilitate centres must be giving good results for any addicted gambler. We should not look for only quick results but we must consider a permanent and natural way of curing alone.
