1 augustus question

Hi,

I am new to altcoins and bitcoins, I have not invested in anything yet since i still need to read a lot more and learn a lot more. I did want to ask a question and that's about what will happen on 1 augustus. Of course nobody knows but i am not sure what to do. There are some coins that really look interesting, i am just not sure what the right moment is to buy a coin. For example what if i buy a coin and the value gets much lower before we reach 1 august? There is also a possibility that it won't get lower and the opposite will happen.

What do you guys think about it? Wait till 28-31 july and then decide?

No one know what happens but I should keep some money for a market crash to buy cheaper. Also I don't think to sell my existing coins, I will go for long term with them.

I would do that, if I still got some. But I've invested all in last ICOs.

Some people guess that because of the potential fork, LTC would be an alternative, that's why its price coming up. But I saw it's going down today. Down a little bit for a hype?

The only thing thats certain as they said is that bitcoin is going to be split. One thing I think will happen is that some of us are going to be moving their money to USDT and its price may rise a bit. This is just my thoughts and if you want to profit by dumping your USDT, it may be a good time to buy before Aug 1.

Did you mean the chain split will to be true? THe more people are interested to save their money through the fiat or USDT as fast as possible to avoid the high risk in august.
But there is no an official statement regarding what will happen in the august. Just wait and see most of the miners is supported the SEGWIT
