Everything is taking place as the predictions and he has described about the market capital increase along with the firey spreading the cause for the price increase. Yeah , I  already read about that and I also think that could not be true , the reason behind this is that the price is at stable because of news of the fear for launching of segwit2X ( reality is everyone knows about that , it is safe and nothing will get wrong ) .
But still.people are fearing much panic about the Bitcoin segwit2x so most of the newbies are selling Thier Bitcoin for the first and that is
Resulting into down of the price of the Bitcoin .
But still after the 10th August I don't think that the price will rise to 5000$ because to become double to the current price is a very tough job because it is already at high price but I don't think that it will take time more than the 5 years .

The article is pretty well written and the points are all pretty good.

$5000 will not be likely but rather inevitable due to the fact that there will only be 21 million bitcoins ever existing.

However i wouldn't say that it would happen this quickly. As we know there will be a fork happening in like 3 weeks time and it's hard to ttell right now what will happen. If a hard fork happens then maybe we'll see bitcoin go under $2000 even, though it's unlikely.

By the end of the year though, even if there is a hard fork there should be a decisive winner. So $5000 is a real possibility by then.

Is there a notice if the august will be only activate the SegWit for bitcoin? Are you forgetting about 2MB hardfork regarding from the result of the scaling agreement. All of the bitcoin holders gets uncertainty.

In a way, we were all like that when we first bought into this technology. It might not have been for the same reason, because some of us were just exited to start something this revolutionary and disruptive. Other people might have done this to hype up the technology to increase their holdings, but for every positive article there are 3 to 4 negative articles. We need to embrace the people who wants to write something positive, because they are the ones keeping adoption growing. ^smile^

Didn't Goldman Sachs predict something similar? So two pretty big sources are currently all bullish on bitcoin even though Goldman Sachs is an investment bank and is probably pro-central banking. It should be proof to anyone that community support for bitcoin both speculators and users have grown so much over the past few years that calling the current price a bubble just like 2013 would be just inappropriate.

$5,000 in a few months isn't difficult to achieve at all. As we have seen the bitcoin price went from basically under $1000 to $2900 in max 2 months. I'd safely say that if more governments just like the Australian and Japanese governments are able to loosen their control over bitcoin then $5000 by the end of the year is extremely likely to happen.

Yes and talked specifically about Asia and Japan, the trend of adopting Bitcoin is lovely. I feel a bit energetic after watching this report. This will make me work regular to achieve my goal of the Bitcoin earnings. Thought I am at a very junior level in fact a beginner but I am hopeful I can do much better in this field. I am already involved in trading and beside trading I want to try my luck in the signature campaigns to increase my earnings and learning both. I am from Asia and glad to hear that Bitcoin is spreading in Asia.

everything will become crystal clear by the start of August (hopefully!).

Honestly I love to have many more "another" such predictions. It is going to happen for sure as bitcoin has enough reasons to have continuous bullish trends in coming years. Awaiting for segwit activation might be the currently blocking criteria for those bullish trends.

But I expected prices to touch $5000 before segwit activation with the support from few governments' regulations but unfortunately no governments are as quick as Japanese's ! They came up with removing consumption tax of 8%, but it was not failing to give big impacts due to segwit based confused situations

I agree if you learn how to manage your bitcoin you can not be afraid with the big dump and you can surely learn how to ride the wave of investing on bitcoin, I think you can surely learn more if you are trading with Altcoins and other stuff other that Cryptocurrencies, and some people are leaning how to read each movement of every alts that is why they are earning big with trades, well people are using the dump opportunity to buy more bitcoin and I think this is the right thing to do if you want to earn more.

Totally agree. These guys are far away from being experts in terms of Bitcoin or crypto currency. Hence I don't get why those type of guys get any attention here.
Forget about the MSM and what they have to say about Bitcoin. They will mostly write whatever they want. And predicting such prices is no big deal for the majority of us here who knows about the tech and it's potential.$5k however will only happen if SegWit will be activated, which it will by 99.9%, and of no slip happens! So there is still some points we have to keep in mind what could stall the further price development.

Msm will help.to get the word out. No one in my family, friends, have a clue about bitcoin. Once msm starts actively discussing the benefits, uses of bitcoin it will only help the uneducated learn of its potential and help new people to start buying

I think all your words were all certain and I have to agree on most points you you mentioned about alternative currencies. There is nothing to argue with this matter here and with bitcoin earnings through trading can be so profitable for a long term, and in order to achieve that idea you needed to learn how to hold and have patience no matter what. Dumping is good if you have plenty of funds and it served as you buffer in time of buying an alts in order to re invest again for a preparation of another pumps. That's it! Bitcoin will surely pumping again by 2017 and through the big help of altcoins, we can go far more of bitcoin economic system to achieve bigger goals.

I think the price can reach to $5000 in end 2017, after SegWit2x success and all crypto market recovery and growth look like as begin 2017 again, although the ratio just 50%
