A problem with these "profitability comparison" sites is that by the time the actual prices data they need is available it is already too late to stock up on the coins; the pre-exchange period often or even usually offers the best chance to get lots of coin before miners see the profitability and hop onto the most profitable coin.

So how about a "percentile yield" site, that ranks the yields in terms of what percent of the total coins you'll get with a given amount of hashing power?

That way by the time a coin hits an exchange you can have a larger percent of all the coins than you would have had of some other chain had you not been able to consult such a site to pick the chain that is offering you the largest slice of its pie?

For example what percent of the coins Bitcoin spits out daily would my 5870 get and what percent of the coins Tenebrix spits out would it get? Would it get a larger slice of Fairbrix than of Tenebrix? How about if I pointed directly at GeistGeld instead of merged mining GeistGeld? Etc...
