Yeah, we need a few more exchanges and as well as a some kind of agreements with some vendors/sites that would accept ONION as a payment.
That will drive the price of the coin up by a bit. After all, there is very little use for the coin that can't be spent anywhere.
While all the new features are going to be awesome to use on their own and it does take time for widespread implementation.

@Deeper already mentioned on getting to a BIG exchange soon. Let's see when will that be. By the time we can get more people jump to DeepOnion, we should be seeing some markets on where to spend it.

Well, it seems like the chinese people are doing a good job with bitcoin. For sure they will buy at cheapest prices and the bitcoin will raise again in some time. They are very smart.

Bitcoin is making a correction now, of course, the ban in China is lowering prices, but I do not see bitcoin getting to 2000 $ again, I do not see bitcoin affecting the value of deepOnion. is perhaps a very good opportunity for China to use a real private cryptocurrency like DeepOnion and protect themselves from government

The market has a major decision to make soon. According to famed Russian analyst Masterluc, $3000 area is a major price support. As long as price holds this level, then the drop is probably a correction and Bitcoin will return to new highs. Onions should come along for the ride in that case.

But if $3000 does not hold, it does not bode well. Then the entire crypto market could enter a bear market, and all coins will suffer.

I think vendors would be a great idea.  Although the coin is still in its infant stage I'm sure the team has some kind of future plans as it's listed on the roadmap in 2018 of Q2.  Also I'm very curious about the idea of being able to put any kind of data in the blockchain.  What does entail?  Can anyone explain a bit more please?

Just my personal opinion, but I have seen others say similar things.  When market watching, the actual volume of trades is a better indicator of how well a campaign like this is progressing.

Just looking at the last 24 hours, as of this second, there has been a little more than 8.5 BTC in volume trading.  Between Aug 29th and Sep 1st volumes / prices were just way too high to be sustainable for long.  I know I sold off some, moved things around, watched closely and was able to make a little grab on Onion volume that period.

The volatility of all crypto is what it has always been, don't get me wrong, I'd love to see worldwide adoption and pay my utility bills in straight crypto, but that might be another two decades away for all of them.
