I'm amazed how quietly and modestly the DeepOnion team introduced DeepVault and I can't wait for the entire world to learn about it. This is a blockchain killer feature: immutable data!!! it is the single most powerful thing that was almost impossible to achieve until now on centralized systems without the risk of outside tampering.
ICO's are raising $millions for white-paper ideas that can't even touch DeepVault. Just let this sink for a while...
Exactly, DeepVault is a killer application and has a wide range of applications. I hope the team promotes more on it and find the businesses that are willing to use it. This will boost the deeponion big time. We work on RPC commands to make it a web service, we have also working on new page just to promote deepvault |

I like deep onion project but i think the price will never rise with all these airdrops and free tokens.
This airdrop wont last forever. It will be over after the 40th round. After then, people who want Onions will have to buy in an exchange. With all the developments with DeepOnion and the community support, the price is bound to go up. I agree with you that until the airdrop ends, it is hard for the price to increase significantly. |

i wanna apply but cannot yet The community is growing, I like the idea because it will make us own by buying onions which if someone will buy that means he is really interested to join and has trust in the devs. I wish I could join this after my campaign, I can have that 100 onions or more anytime because until now it's still undervalued. |

Wise decision, much appreciated that the voice of the community has been listened to again. Very good for the decentralization and should also at least partially help to reduce the power of whales. Looking forward to see the new rules in practice. But for now, successful airdrop 15 for those who are eligible  How can it help reduce the power of whales? Whales who came in late can now participate in the aidrops too. They finally end up accumulating more onions. They can help us getting huge volume on exchanges and attract more traders & investors. So don't stop them but invite them As obvious from my post, I am not a big fan of whales, at least from the personal point of view. No doubt that they can be useful for the project from the economic point of view. I am just a big fan of decentralization, therefore I am happy that more "ordinary" Onion supporters can join thanks to the updated registration date requirement. My comment about partially decreasing airdrop power of whales was based on the assumption that most Bitcointalk accounts created during this September do not belong to whales, I believe that they are here for much longer time  |

The volume is up , price is stable. there are good orders going in and out. With higher volume we might be able to get another exchange |

In order to be able to comply with the new rules and get the rewards as a result of holding the 10k ONIONS in the wallet, does that balance need to be in the wallet before the 16th airdrop or can that balance be increased weeks later and if so will still have the same effects?

As stated in the thread regarding the new rules, you can increase your Onions (in your airdrop address) anytime before they do their last-minute check before the distribution time. |

Well it's Friday, so that must mean that it's time for the DeepOnion newsletter! Let's delve into what happened in the past week and see what we have to look forward to in the next 7 days.
Markets
The 25th has come and gone and so has the hardfork of BitcoinGold. BTC's price did momentarily dip to around the ~$5200 mark, but that was quickly reversed and we're now back at almost $6k. This is somewhat different to the previous Bitcoin Cash fork where BTC took a much larger fall and took longer to recover. The knock on effect of this is that altcoins haven't rallied as well as many had predicted, with most alts significantly down over the past 3 weeks. Fortunately for us, DeepOnion has remained resilient in this hostile climate and has even managed to see a small 10% increase in price around the 12-13k mark. This is a great achievement and something that I can only see increasing with the introduction of new features such as DeepPoints, new exchanges, new airdrop rules and further promotional material such as our new website.

Wow!!! what a growth. We just overtook NEM in Altcoins Announcements page. Next close targets Blackcoin, DigiByte, and Monero. Remember as what somebody (sorry to not remember his name) says here "We are not here to participate, but we are here to take over" and we are just doing it outstandingly.  NIce catch there !!! It was fixed some days ago and now it´s offline again. The creator of that site sold his coins because the fork but he said that he will continue supporting the project. I think we should contact him to see if he´ll take back the site online. Anyway I saw another user saying that he is working in other similar site. I can´t remember his username right now but he took an screenshot and the site looks very good. |

Hmm, this is the tricky part, owing to the airdrop rules. I think it would be hard to buy onions now. The number of airdrop coins you receive is equal to the number of coins you hodl. |
