Better than telling people they can't join the airdrop would be to tell them about all the bounties available, and the DeepPoints airdrop which they don't need a minimum of Onions to join.
And the regular giveaways on the main forum, and the weekly Lotto. There are tons of ways for someone to get the 100 Onions, and we should be letting people know about these instead of just saying "Nope. Can't join."

You should write at least 5 posts on btctalk forum and at least 3 posts on Deeponion forum with minim 50 characters and but not in offtopic section. Also don't move your Onions during the no move period which has started and will last until tommorow. You can check on Deeponion forum when start and when ends. Good luck!

Should those posts be anywhere in bitcointalk or specifically in the DeepOnion ANN thread? It's a bit confusing, apparently the rules concerning bitcointalk have been changed, but not sure if only in the airdrop description or also in the algo which accepts you or not to the airdrop.

That was a good call to make. I think people should have real expections of a coin and manage their emotions. There is still a long road to go for DeepOnion, but everything seems on track in my opinion.

Yeah, the promotions team is doing a really great job.

I think they get to be in an echo chamber at times.  We are too positive as a whole, so why won't other people be?  Turns out when you get hundreds of dollars a week for forum posts, you get to be pretty positive.  Yet, from the outside it can all look rather fake.  So, we have to see it for what it is.  The proximite answer is to have more control over marketing and it is being done.  The far reaching answer is a cultural shift from within, we need to be more questioning and less apologetically so.  The change might be slow, but it is a must for proper growth.

Thats the same way i think about it. Dev and community need to stay focused and improve, overcome and adapt all the way to the goals that should be achieved. There will always be some obstacles in the way, but as for now they always found a way to deal with it

It also takes time (at least two weeks) to reach the coveted Jr. Member status.

As someone who both hates spam, and has a lot of pride regarding my written skills, I can attest to the fact that I believe this next iteration of Domination tasks will do very well. Those involved were hand-selected, and I played a significant part of that process. We only let in a few, and we'll be monitoring heavily for the foreseeable future. With that being said, time will tell. I'm confident though.

you can buy 100 onions in exchange using 268$, that's the fastest way to do it.  the slow way to do it is to join deeponion contests and giveaways.  there are some in the deeponion forum where you could get free onions.  i suggest you buy some onions, and win some onions.

You are not forced to stake your coins. There are advantages of it, though. E.g. supporting the network and receiving extra onions.
