Is it just me, or is the recent breakout above $7 a sign that we may be making new all time highs next year? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

yes, breaking 7 was significant. It a sign that points up, But I predict their will be a short sell off period above 8$, which will slowly bring us back down to 6.50ish, after that the 2011 high will the next target  and of course we will dramatically over shoot into the 100's

Sorry...

hold your lol's for next years, when you sold off all your bitcoins and the price keeps going up but you dont care cuz your busy buying a new house  Wink

If that happens adamstgBit, I'll give you 10 bitcoins, just for me being so profoundly short sighted and wrong.  Free of charge.

Bolded part... adam claiming we will "shoot into the 100's" this year Smiley

Ok, that was dumb of me.  This is my public and humble plea for adam to have mercy on me and release me from this debt.

How about a poll with 3 options?

1. full payment of it.
2. 50% payment (as bet was not formally put in escrow)
3. forgiveness of it.

Why not just let Adam pick? Why do you want to take away his rights?

Not "taking away rights". Poll just captures a public view, since the matter has been publicly raised. Obviously, such a view is no more than extra information.

As much as I like Proudhon and his counter opinion, the fact he put money on it, made him believable.
If he has to buy BTC today to eat his mistakes I think it is fitting. (I'm not bitter he convinced me to sell enough BTC for a nice house at today price, before the shift.)

I know he has reformed, but was he trying to manipulate the market?
