Holding your bitcoin alone for a long time period is enough for you to have a good return on your investment as compared to gambling your precious bitcoin in the name of trying to make more bitcoin. Seriously,  I believe holding bitcoin is also an investment. However, investing into altcoin which have profitable future(ICO/Crowdsale) and gamble site but must make enquire about how the system work first.
 Nevertheless, I will advice you to wait patiently because we both know that a huge thing which is about to split the bitcoin network will happen this coming Aug 1 and anything can happen.
