Hi rauderce, thank you for your appreciation. You get it absolutely right - crypto currency is the only sort of currency that can power RootProject. No card / no stamp / no sql database can fulfill the role of ROOTS. That is what differentiates ROOTS from other tokens. It is not just a means of payment, it's an incentive mechanism to lift people out of poverty.

The idea behind investing on ICO is somewhat risky but also a good investment and can serve as a protection for your money during the BIP 148 storm on August 1. You just gotta make sure that the ICO you're investing in has a good team, nice idealogy, and could have a huge success in the near future.
