Not sure why, but Viacoin just dropped to under $1. Segwit should be coming any day now.

Any thoughts on why the price drop and whether you would expect it to bounce on announcement?

Things usually build up to announcements and then dump right before or just after (Unless groundbreaking).

The fact is the announcement and the updates are not what increases quick coin value, HYPE is.

Yes, that makes sense. Long term we need more real usage to drive value. The more people running Viacoin core the better! Share some with friends, etc.

I don't think it has found the bottom yet, most of the market hasn't.
If you really believe in the project buy more, if you're looking for a quick
investment wait. It could go as low as 20k satoshi

As long as progress is being made consistently against a roadmap, I believe there is a long term opportunity for success. However, I agree with you that more community engagement and communications management is needed to give it the most chance of gaining traction.

Wow I dont know that via will have it's segwit activation. If you see this coin dropping it tells that you need to buy more and dont miss the opportunity to buy. Holding is the best key to have a good profit and if so you must also cut loss if you know that the drop will be huge.

Could you explain me why you consider VIA as the future ? For me it is the common scrypt altcoin that tries to get a second youth with SegWit, but now that any crypto-currency has SegWit, that does not change a lot of things. Don't you think so ?
