First, I am aware of paper wallets and I don´t want to use one for this purpose.

I will have to manage some bitcoins wich don´t belong to me in near future and so I need something with maximum security.

I have looked in a few solutions but https://bitkey.io/ seems most promising.

Has anyone experinece with bitkey or can recommend something else ?

As long as you have the ability to spend it with the correct procedure, it is about as safe as a hardware wallet.

Never have I seen bitkey before, nor can I recommend them as your first option. I would recommend either Trezor or Ledger. They are quite well known and their source code has been vetted quite well, do consider installing the OS that the wallet is running on yourself.

If you want something which can provide similar security for a lot less money, I would recommend getting a Raspberry Pi and installing either Armory[1] or Electrum[2] on the Raspberry Pi. The steps are in the link. For Electrum, I would recommend using Tails OS instead of running it on Raspbian. Tails has it preinstalled.

This service is a little bit old (exists for years now) but has not been tested much by people so I personally wouldn't recommend it. It's better to go with something like Tails as suggested above since It's known (It comes with Electrum too) instead otherwise something like Ubuntu will do the job just fine.

I don´t like the idea of a raspberry because, I need an extra monitor, and it is to big, and I want to be able to run it from every pc (live boot)

How about installing TailsOS on a USB drive and running the OS via persistance mode? Is this possible with tails? (I really like the idea of an more or less air gapped system, without buying a hardware wallet)

I quickly read throught their docs and found that it is possible to create a partial persistent area for documents, and so on. Can I make the electrum wallet install persistent ?

Edit: Just found it yes it is possible to make the wallet persistent. Would you recommend me this solution?

It would but it does cost money, while tailOS as a life boot is a air gapped system and totally free, totally encryptred and with many additional features.

I was think of the same thing like a usb key with the wallet installed on it or to some extend the pi-wallet?
Those are modifiable and so you know it is just as secure as any paperwallet would be.
Haven't heard of bitkey yet but will be looking into it to see if it fits my needs in the future.

Any screen that supports HDMI will do. Even your TV.

Edit: Just found it yes it is possible to make the wallet persistent. Would you recommend me this solution?

If you want the best and most cost efficient way, go for it. However, USBs aren't that good of a storage medium in the long term. You have to keep the backups of the seeds save, thought thats probably the case for any wallet.

I think I will go for the USB-tails solution. Thx for all advice
