If you look in Monero history, the first change came after 1-2 months.
No coins were absolutely preminate, it started from block 1

XLC is still on our addcoin voting list, we will take a discussion about this coin in crew, if we should reject it if is has 3 different forks running, that is not good at all, and will cause a lot of broken transactions and support tickets, and people that will lose money :-/
