25 sat/byte is very far from the regular fee necessary to get your fee confirmed in the same day.

To get your transaction confirmed in 10-15 minutes, you would need to pay a fee of at least 320 sat/byte according to bitcoinfees.21.co or 209 sat/byte according to estimatefee.com

This fee is so low that your transaction is probably going to take a few more days to get confirmed. And there is still the chance of never getting there.

If you want it confirmed fast you  could contact either quickseller or macbook-air and offer a small payment to get it confirmed.

This is an example of how much they charged ahmedjadoon a long time ago.

I faced a similar issue a few days back transaction not getting confirmed due to low fee but user "QuickSeller" got my transaction confirmed in minutes when I sent him 0.0001 BTC. He has access to some pool . PM him.

Macbook-air runs F2Pool, and quickseller has access to it, so they can get it to confirm your transaction,

I think macbook-air charges a minimal fee (to make it up to a regular amount that would generally be accepted by the network).
I contacted quickseller a while back to confirm mine and the fee was quite low then.

Thanks for the feedback. You are the first person I found since ahmedjadoon who said what they charge for confirming transactions. I suppose what they charge depends partly on how big the mempool is. When it was huge they must have charged more.

Your transaction have already got confirmation but I recommend you to use higher fees next time to get confirmation faster. You seem quite lucky to get your tx confirmed even with just 25 sat/byte fee.

You can use https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ to accelerate your transaction if it get stucked for hours.

Actually viabtc can't accelerate that transaction, it didn't even reach 10k satoshi so there's no way they do about it. It got confirmed since there's no huge backlog on the network so some miner get your transaction to include it on some blocks. Anyways since this issue was sloved already, much better if you close this thread Wink

Their site says that it needs to be at least 0.0001BTC/kb which is around 10000 satoshi (If I remember rightly).
That means that there is a fee of 10sat/byte needed and the fee he sent satisfies this amount. (But I might have got this wrong) - his transaction was 25 satoshi/byte.

Yeah you're right here, at least 10k satoshi for the fee

Fee per byte which is sat/byte doesn't involve about it, the important is the total fee of the transaction which is he have just 0.0000565 BTC or around 5k sat.

No, you're wrong. You're reading the requirement incorrectly... it is NOT based on total fee... fees are ALWAYS (and should always be) calculated using fee per byte. This is why the fee estimators ALWAYS use BTC/kB or sat/byte because that is the value that miners use to prioritise transactions.

It says on ViaBTC:
We only provide accelerator services for those with at least 0.0001BTC/KB transaction fees;
That is 0.0001 BTC per kiloByte or 10,000 sats per kiloByte or 10 satoshis per byte... His transaction was 25 sats/byte and as far as I could tell, met ALL the requirements of ViaBTC.
