What happened: Tried sending 0.05BTC to see what would happen. After 2 hours, the deposit is still not showing up.

You should stop believing that there's no program that will make your bitcoin doubled and will get profit without doing nothing. This sites are obvious scams and will never pays you. You can only double your coins using gambling or betting and with enough luck will do.
