What happened::
Here the page: http://www.giftcardworld.org/t1p70-selling-amazon-gc-s-for-50
I contacted the seller Bulkzona on skype to ask about purchasing $10,000 Amazon Gift Card after seeing the ads and check through the website. Seem legit with all the orders and note from Admin and Creator of the site.

SInce im new to this, he guided me through the process and suggest to do transaction through escrow service www.bitbankescrow.com, which is seem legit with just a throughout look with address and phone number in the US, however it also CREATED by them.

After created a escrow form and transfer the btc as direct. There no more contact and they blocked me out of the website.

BE WARNED. DO NOT TRUST THEM AT ALL

Thanks for letting us know.

I think that it is probably not going to be likely that anyone here will visit the forum that you mentioned, but there is a real possibility that Bitbankescrow will be used as a way to scam people via a bogus escrow setup.

Just make sure that you don't get greedy and fall for the same scam twice. 50% non carded amazon gcs are just too good to be true. I wouldn't be surprised if the giftcardworld.org admin is creating some alt accounts for himself on his own forum.

BTW you should probably include the name of the bogus escrow site in the title as well.

Okay so from what i can tell this is quite an elaborate scam, correct me if i'm wrong:

1. Admin("The One") opens up site
2. Creates bunch of alt accounts, make them VIP and add reputation score to each person
3. Create tons of attractive ads
4. On all of these ads they list escrow as either bitbankescrow/The One escrow service/The godfather escrow service, all of which are actually the same organization/person
5. Once a victim falls into their trap, they're banned asap from all sites.

Is that somewhat accurate? Anyways, sorry for your loss but you got real greedy there trying to strike an impossible deal.

Bogus escrow site included in title.

You right, i was greedy and over estimated my ability to identify a scam. That why I ask to use escrow, but turn out to be fool again.
Expensive lesson learned

As what the first reply said, there's no way people on this forum will use this site's escrow because Bitcointalk have here so many trusted escrow from different timezones to use with some trades. And btw sorry for your lost, you have to serve this as a lesson and thanks for the information you gave to warned people here especially newbies who are the mostly victims of this.

I don't think they have an account here, they cannot be red tagged, what a shame. There are many escrow scams like this online. Same guy could own different websites purporting to offer different cheap as chips goods and services, then turn around and scam via escrow.

The lesson here is if someone suggests an escrow service, counter their offer with your own escrow. If they refuse any other escrow but theirs, they are 99% scammers.
