I think ICO's have a lot more advantages than IPO's and they could become future global standard for companies going public, however there's something to be done.
2 main questions from me:
1) Do you think in the future we will see companies that are not using blockchain technologies doing ICO's instead of IPOs to raise capital and go public? Yes, we can see some examples already.
2) In my opinion there should be more regulations on ICOs, because investors must see how company is performing. There are strict regulations on IPOs, but for ICOs there isn't any, that's the problem, because investors can't trust. We need to see companies balance, earnings/loss sheets quarterly reports etc.. Currently I invest in ICO and I don't know where my money is going after it's exchanged to Fiat. I count only on teams promises, recent example of EOS is unbelievable...
What could be the ways to solve this issue?
Lets discuss.
People are greedy to get quick money so icos become so popular .How to make regulations ?Who could supervise ?
And also people can scam under regulations, such as stock , some companies also scam their investors in real life.
