DOTA 2. It is actually number 1 on the top free games under steam.
I've played it myself and it's actually very addicting, plus its replayability is very good also

Dota 1 and Dota 2. I started playing since 2007 and until now. Unfortunately, it becomes more toxic as new players come. Instead of enjoying the game you became competitive. The essence of playing game is to "Enjoy" WIN or LOSE not being "Stressed" cause you lose. That's why I choose playing with friends instead of Solo queue.

So what was the game you liked or spent time playing it the most ?
For myself it was counter strike 1.6 .

After that, I'd say Lol or Dota are really good f2p too. Lot of differents gameplays with all the characters available.
