Don't think so, IPFS (Interplanetary File System) is basically a peer to peer 'hypermedia protocol. Basically best way to think about it is decentralized storage. In this case, im assuming IPFS is being used to store music, and i don't believe IPFS 'birdges' other blockchains. That's not it's intended use case. Serves as a peer to peer protocol not a bridge between blockchains (btw side note ARK is trying to bridge between b!cokchains, pretty cool coin.).

Yes to clarify, IPFS is not directly connected to the ETH blockchain. Through the player APIs, listeners will be able to find the file hashes and decryption keys in Ethereum and retrieve the associated file from IPFS. Ofcourse Artists will be incentivized to upload correct files to IPFS and associated hash to the Opus Ethereum contract because if they dont, users will rate down the song and not makes sales

I know Opus has focused a lot on the UI/UX to make it as simple as possible for users (which I think is a smart business strategy). Will this simplified use also be available for the artist that are trying uplaod their music to the Opus Ethereum contract. The uploading process will need to be relatively easy for artists to upload for the same reasons that the UI/UX need to be easy for users. If artists have a hard time uploading their content, they'll just find another avenue to put out their music.

Yes in the final version artists will be able to upload through a easy to use Core Opus uploader. However, we also encourage 3rd party uploaders (Like Ethereum has many wallets) and in those cases quality cannot be guranteed.

Due to a spike in Ethereum network load today (Probably due to fluctuating prices) the block delays have jumped to almost 20 seconds. As a result, our timing is delayed by about 2 hours.
