Le mining pool si basano sul fatto che n minatori collaborano per trovare i blocchi, quando un miner trova un blocco si divide il reward tra gli n minatori (a seconda dell'hashpower di ognuno).
A questo punto uno potrebbe installare un miner "taroccato" impostato in modo che se trova un blocco, si prende tutto il reward per sè anzichè inviarlo alla pool.
Ovviamente credo ci sia una qualche protezione adottata dalle pool per evitare ciò, sapete dirmi come fanno?
