I've been mining CNC for the last couple days and I can't help but notice the drastic loss of network hash rate recently.  A few days ago it was as high as 6 GH/s, and now it is less than 0.5 GH/s.  I know a few miners with enough rigs to 51% attack at that network rate.

Also, the cnc.strament.com site is down.  I have no idea how long until the next difficulty retarget or the current block finding rate.

Does anyone know what is going on with CNC?  It seems like its dying....

I know there are still pools mining, but there aren't many miners mining.

It's still not as bad as FTC, its next difficulty retarget is now 21 days away Shocked.

You forgot to get off the last stop, you best empty your bags and walk away.

Completely natural for mining hash rate to drop with profitability. It's not 'dying', hell even FTC is not dying and it's far worse off.

I agree, I don't think either coin is going away anytime soon.
