Another thing - you cannot run a business for the time you are in bankruptcy until you are discharged (9 months). You will not legally be able to offer services or products for bitcoin.

No business? Even for bitcoin? What if I accept donations? Also the bankruptcy process will start tommorow, BUT The application gets approved in 2-3 days? I think I have till friday to get this done with. to get my car back. Another thing - you cannot run a business for the time you are in bankruptcy until you are discharged (9 months). You will not legally be able to offer services or products for bitcoin.

Doesn't matter what you call it. It's money coming in, and it has to be reported, or else you are committing fraud. Didn't your trustee explain this to you?  |

Doesn't matter what you call it. It's money coming in, and it has to be reported, or else you are committing fraud. Didn't your trustee explain this to you? Also remember that bankruptcy is a public filing. Anyone can see you have filed bankruptcy, and anyone can make an anonymous report that you are getting unreported income. So make sure you stay on the up and up with it. |
