Thread images aren't showing up

I tried to post an image in my thread I clicked on image Icon and inside the image tags I posted a direct link to the image. When I go to my thread the images show up as links and not as images. Is that because my account is new or do I need to something special for the images to work?

You need to be a Jnr Member before they show up.

30 activity. You need to have posted in three activity periods and have made 30 posts to be a jnr.

Regarding images, why does this forum show some images while the others appear like this:



I was able to see images of prntscr.com few months ago (December 16, I guess) while now I get an error. It happens many times with other sites too where images show up while sometimes they appear as invalid. Why does this happen?

You sure ? As far as I know the img tag self explains that you should embed an image inside and not a link.I'm surprised it ever worked.
Anyway,next time you want to use it,make sure you rightclick ->copy image address and paste it inside the tag.
