Totally agree with that. Design is really important thing when you start to selling an idea in the internet, especially crypto projects. Design can gain more trust when people reading or visit an announcement of some project. But remember one thing, good design can't be a guarantee that the project is good, the idea behind it is the most important. Lots of scammers are doing good job with design.
I remember when I see Ethereum Ann thread, there's no design on there, only text.

Designer is the one of important position in a project, besides makes your project look beautiful it's also makes the project more professional.

You can offer your skill on service board or find project on altcoin marketplace for more attention.

I think Design in some cases is as important as PR - which suppose to introduce new and exciting tech or amazing concept - but people today are more visual thinking and looking for something extra ordinary to grab their attention...

It's definitely something that will make your ICO look more thrustworthy, but the project itself and all of it's features are more important.
I'd rather invest in an ICO with a slightly worse design, but looks to be a better idea than one that has an excellent design that looks kinda shaky.

I consider it one of the most important thing on ICO project on which it do have a good design because its one of the things that will caught up the attention of potential investors because if it had a bad design then most likely people will surely turn their back on their project since they dont have any interest on putting money on a not good designed project.

Design is important, but I think that in lot's of cases it has to be driven by data data and conversion statistics. There are many examples of beautiful design that is at the same time confusing to end customer.

Design helps to make a program or service looks more appealing and more professional so yes, it is important. For most ICO I have seen, those that actually put effort to make their product look good are the ones I see that gathers more investors faster. Design is important but don't forget that a good concept is important as well.

Good design together with a good concept do have the higher chance for an ICO project would be successful and as you said it would really be important for a project to be appealing to the people because if they saw that project is good lookin already on its design then high chances that they will assume that it has also a good plans too but as an investor we should be keen and do always research and dont be deceived by good looking ICO's because there are intances that good designed ICO turns out to scam.

This is absolutely true. If you have an ICO you should invest in the design of your coin logo, ANN Threads, infographics, social media collaterals etc..

An ICO pack with good graphic designs is very attractive to investors.

Even a scam ICO with good graphic designs appears to be legit even not. That's the power of design.

If you look at some of these ICO's they have beautifully designed logos, websites, infographics etc. but then a 6 page whitepaper with an abstract idea that will be realized in the year 2050. But thanks to a great design and marketing will raise 10's of millions.

Then there are some great projects with poor design that doesn't even reach a million. So yes very important.

The design of an ICO project like the OP thread,website,logo,etc. is very important as it attracts those human eye balls.  But it can be the most ugly design if the technology behind the coin is revolutionary. Also the design is good for marketing. It can make the difference between raising 1 bitcoin or thousands of bitcoins.

This is why some scam ICO do really give attention or importance on making up a convincing graphics to the eyes of community specially on investors because they do know that if they wont put effort on their design people will really neglect it and thats a normal thing,we dont like to invest on a project which isnt good at design at the very first place. having a good design does really have the advantage compared on the ugly one and this is one of the most important thing on a certain project.

UX/UI design is almost everything for ICO projects. Of course you need the marketing side as well.  Does anyone have a strong opinion on marketing an ICO? Token price, cap, bounties, etc?
