Cryptocurrency. If you were to withdraw through a bank or card transfer, you would have to first verify your identity with the exchange, then wait for the transaction to be processed by the banks, usually taking a couple of business days.

Cryptocurrency on the other hand is usually handled well by exchanges. Poloniex for one sends more than 10 outgoing transactions at a time, making it cheaper to withdraw and pretty fast, usually only an hour or so at the latest to transact.

It will be fast if you are using crypto to move your amount to another exchange site, But you must try to do research to find the altcoin that's having the fast block and low cost for every transaction.
It will be a convenient way for you to move your money between exchanges.

Bitcoin on exchanges through money is more suitable to do on a wallet where you can manage in monitor the changes of price of bitcoin on the market. In fact you could actually learn trading through graph and flows. If you will learn more and you educate yourself for a efficient trading you could actually earn more and save more in both ways. Exchanges in the price of bitcoin is moving and developing so it's better to always track and monitor it for a better trading.

if you want to move funds in order to do arbitrage trading then there is no way of doing that and still make profit. you will be  crushed under the fees, specially the fiat withdrawal fees and the deposit fees afterwards.

but if you are just planning on moving funds from one exchange to another in order to have your funds in your other account and lose nothing in this process or at least lose the smallest amount then a cryptocurrency is your best option. for that you must choose the most stable altcoin with the lowest fee. I have found that litecoin and sometimes Dogecoin are the best choices although Doge is a bit riskier but cheaper. because of its low price the changes will cause a big percentage loss.

it is definitely much faster and easier to move cryptocurrency than fiat money.
There are a few exchanges that support USDT now, which is a good way to move cryptocurrency that has its price peg closely to USD.

The posters above have already answered (it is a lot faster to move cryptocurrencies than cash on exchanges), but let me explain why. Cash cannot simply be sent or transferred from one exchange to another. You must first withdraw to your bank account, wait for it to clear (up to 10 business days), then wire it to the other exchange (again, can take up to 10 business days). This does not include much higher fees than sending crypto.

On the other hand, cryptos can be sent within a few hours (usually) to any other exchange, with negligible fees compared to the process described above for moving cash. Therefore, it is highly recommended to move crypto as opposed to cash (unless you want to wait a long time and pay more Roll Eyes).

If you are dealing with your own country exchanges and their withdraw time is significantly quicker then you may go for moving funds in cash between exchanges.

But in my country I can withdraw cash only to the account which must match with my account name. How you can move funds from exchange to exchange when most of the deposits are being accepted in the company names rather than account holder names. If you are asking something else, better enlight with more information on this.

Cryptos are always better to move funds from anywhere to anywhere. But now a days exchanges are coming with tether trading which will allow you to settle funds across exchanges in convenient way and in more quicker time also.

Just forget about moving cash from one exchange to the other. If you are unlucky, then the payment can get stuck and it can take at least a month. Also, there is no direct method to do this. First you need to withdraw fiat from the first exchange to your bank account or CC, and then you need to deposit this cash in the second exchange.

Hi shinratensei_,
Thank you for your reply. I am quite new to the BTC community, so I apologise for my questions which may seem a bit naive. What does an alt coin have to do with the fast block? How does this affect the speed of withdrawing the funds out of the exchange?

Regards,
VA.

That's right. I have the same problem here in Ireland. To withdraw any amount from that exchange account, you need your name placed in your exchange account. Otherwise, you can't withdraw anything.

For using multiple exchanges, you need to verify your identity in each of them so that you don't have problem in near future. It's generally used for arbitrage, but it's not something that can be done efficiently nowadays.

You are right. When I am trying to deposit for the Bitcoins from Xapo. They just give their company account name and we need to put some references so that they can credit into our accounts. And most of the fiat dealing exchanges are not allowing to withdraw to any account but only to same account names.

Absolutely only CRYPTO.
Fiat takes time longer (sometime it may go to 1 hour if it is having gateway) 1-5 days.

One note: should be verified to make volume bigger.

Honestly here in my country we have an local exchange here that we can transfer fund instantly without asking for important details except if you really want to become legal member of their service just get the benefits of rebates..
Not quicker its instant here to buy bitcoins.. anytime but expect that if you transfer your cryptocurrency into other wallet if you pay a small amount of you will experience of delay transaction..

The fastest way is turning your capitan into ethereum then transfer I think. You can never use wire transfer between exchanges because its cost is extremely high and you generate loss if you do so.

You can also get USDT but this is also not so safe.

the most efficient way of transferring "capital" between exchanges needs to have these attributes:
- have a reliable blockchain so that your transactions won't get lost or delayed
- have the lowest amount of fee so you don't lost much
- have a stable price or better have a rising price so you can make some profit too.
- have a high price so fluctuations don't mean a big change (eg. price changing 10 satoshi in a coin that is worth 100 is a huge change while 10 satoshi in a coin worth 1 million is nothing)

so far ethereum only has the last one and lacks the rest.
