Hi Everyone!

Since I've started mining I've always been an AMD guy, I'm used to deal with BIOS customisazions for undervolting, overcloking and editing timings.

In the last few months I've built a few Nvidia rigs, specifically using gtx 1070 and I've seen a few topics about overclocking and reducing power limit.
Right now I am simply using MSI afterburner to overclock a little bit and It seems what with power limit around 80% I'm using the best Hashrate/Watt ratio.

Are there any other tricks to squeeze the last bit of performance out of those GPUs?
According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

on the nvidia side there is no bios editing stuff.
what else you can do is searching for best miner software & checkin miner software updates regularly

with AMD is undervolt, memory overclock, core underclock, memory straps in bios edit
with Nvidia is power target decrease, core and memory overclock

surprising with heavy power target decrease you get the same hashrate and with overclock hashrate will increase on the same power consumption

It seems to easy to be true! But if that's the case, wellcome Nvidia!

You could probably swueeze that tdp down to 60-70% and still be fine. My 1060's are 60tdp +125core clock and +725mem clock. Obviously no idea about the 1070's but im guessing you could get it down more.
