i am not a day trader , so i dont know much about these terms.,

there was trollbox on polo where people used to say pump and dump specific coins. but trollbox is gone now.,

from basic understanding dump means DROP,
does the PUMP means buy ?

No.You are wrong.Pump means a coin deliberately made to increase in price by continuously placing buy orders higher than previous order's value.Its mostly done in altcoins especially in newly released coins  by the dev team itself to create a good image for that coin.

Every coin pumped would get dumped.After pumping a coin to some high price,sell orders are placed continuously lower than the previous order.Big whales also use this pump and dump technique to make huge profits.

Yes, you got the "dump" meaning right but not quite correctly. "Dump" does not necessarily mean the drop of the price, it means the price is about to drop. And "pump" means the price is about to go up. All the best with trading.

the similarity of both are their price changing so significantly, when the price being pump (increase), the price changing increase so significant between 50% - 100% range volume changing, meanwhile when the dump has came, you will surprise with the price which dropped so down. if you want to trade in cryptocurrency. better of thinking more, dont listen to the trollbox like just what you do. dont trust any signal if you cant prove the accuracy.

It just means that the value of the coins ia either gonna go up or go down. The pump means that the value of the coins are increasing and that is the right time to sell coin because you are gonna gain more of course because it is on a high price. While dump means that the value falls in the market so that is the time the value or the price eill turn red but do not be threaten because some are gonna pabic sell all their holdings but do not do it especially when the coins are successful they are gonna pump immediately after days.

First of all never believe in these trollbox and other channels because it's name itself suggests that they are "trolling" you.
PUMP means increase in the value,and DUMP means decrease in the value.
In crypto world we buy during DUMP and sell it during PUMP.

PUMP is the sudden increase in price of a certain cryptocurrency. On the other hand, DUMP is the unexpected fall of price. This terms are commonly used by daily traders. You can tell what is the PUMP and what is the DUMP just by looking in the chart. So knowledge and experience is much needed for you to not lose a lot of money in trading. Pump and dump are the basic concept of rise and fall of the price intentionally.It can be done by various method such as Fake News,Whale's(These are the individuals or group who are powerful with loads of money and stakes in there hand) and due some government bans.It is mostly intentional and is done to generate lots of profit to the individuals or lot of people.But surprisingly it is the best time to buy and sell your coins to generate lots of in short span.Hope this will help you in understanding the concept.
