I guess the eth price crushed because many ico are selling eth they raised during their ico.Last few months we have seen huge funds raising by these ICOs and most of them have thousands of eth.Now they are selling it and that led to huge price fall.

I think so, but the project didn't make wise decision to keep them for the long-term period i mean over a years or more. The short locekd period just give the shock buy to the ethereum market. That gives a lot of the impact for the price of ether.
