Bitcoin Price Level by August 1

Price will stay well above $2500 before network split and it can easily go above $3000 when people will start to dump free BCC they will get during HF. I am expecting over $4000 within next few months because support for segwit is huge compared to support for BCC.

If it is going like that then it will attract more people because now a days as it going the people are willing bitcoin to be the top currency in the world. So I would say that yes it will be the same because there will be nothing happen. But one thing I'm confused kindly post that with explanation that it would be more helpful because by help we can learn too.

With the respect to my everyday technical analysis and expecting bitcoin will be having prices are around $3000 levels by August 1. Because 100 days moving average is in upper side and we can expect positive rally in next two days.

Here we need to concern about what is going to happen after Aug 1, I am expecting a slight dump before we will be seeing another greater rally toward $4000 and then $5000 levels. I am expecting prices to test $4000 levels by end of this aug as part of its long term target of $10,000 levels by end of this year.

That's great that you are thinking positive about bitcoin. Because it is the first stage in bitcoin to stay positive with bitcoin if people are going negative then they will lose their coins so by that they will blame bitcoin. So I agreed with you to be honest to give passage of time to bitcoin and stay positive because it can teach us to know different methods where we can learn from mistakes.
I am also sure that after 1st August if everything will be ok then exact on that day the price will start to rise more.

How does a hard fork impact the price after it happens,if the price would have gone done,it would have being already and with the way bitcoin is holding up,i do not see much of a downward rally after the fork,unless some big earlier miners plan on dumping bitcoin for BCC,i really hope that wont happen,just a day more for the big day.

How does a hard fork impact the price after it happens,if the price would have gone done,it would have being already and with the way bitcoin is holding up,i do not see much of a downward rally after the fork,unless some big earlier miners plan on dumping bitcoin for BCC,i really hope that wont happen,just a day more for the big day.

I don't see that happening. Dumping BTC for BCC is hugely speculative and is more to do with making a statement. I don't see any of the long term holders doing this. They will adopt a wait and watch stance, to see where the market settles down.

Why do you think the price will drop? Because miners will probably stop for some time and will need to be upgraded? Or are you saying this based on experience of litecoin that went up before segwit and down after it? Maybe people will try selling what they bought a few days ago but I think the profit is too small here, so they will probably not do that. I think bitcoin will just go hugely up.

Stating the obvious there , after all the panic sales a few days ago, it seems to be going from strength to strength. Hopefully everything go well and by the end of the week we will be discussing 3/4k usd per bitcoin.

Dumping btc for bcc? hardly. There's just like a few exchanges that are offering bcc, right? I've seen kraken creating soem interesting market for btc-bcc trading.

Well, BCH is top 3 in coinmarketcap right now.
The price is more than double that of ETH.
So it must be good as we get BCH initially free from the equal amount of BTC we hold last August 1st.
And now we see that both BTC and BCH prices are very good.

it is common folks or small holders who are panicking and selling
today we saw a low of 1810$ at one point!
the price has recovered some,but to be losing almost 200$ every day for several days.... anyone could panic
but this is when you have to decide:you either hold and wait or try to sell and short it,or even to stay in LTC or Dash or ETH for the time being
as I had mentioned,I sold and was right,I could have rebought at 1820 ish if I wanted to

Why did you mention alts like LTC or Dash or ETH? They always crashed with BTC and i don't think it will change for some months or years

Thank you in digging out this old speculation and this is a reminder to those that were saying Bitcoin is dead or Bitcoin will dump to know that Bitcoin started on a very humble price in 2017 and as at August it was just a little above $1500 but because 2017 was a bullish year we see the level bitcoin went to in December 2017. This (2019) Is now another bullish year and bitcoin remain very strong above $11,000. I think we should expect $15_000 to $20,000 in August and we should not be moved by negative speculation at some popular sites because that is what some of them said in 2017 but bitcoin surprised all those doom speculators.

Sometimes its really fascinating to see this kind of thread it's old but nothing has changed. I'm still recalling what had happened earlier than year, Winklevoss ETF was denied in February or March and then April Japan entered the pictured.

Edit: Most probably because of the BCH fork on August and people here that time are speculating on what could be the price.

Anyways, that year was bullish so we might compare it to 2019, Same similarities in patterns, so we just hope that at the end of this year, $20k is possible.
