And I am not kidding, I literally have hundreds of emails from people asking me if they can pay with normal currency, even if it is 2-3 times the cost in BTC.
Are these people insane?
Even at the normal price is it more of a curio than profitable mining proposition.
I mean they are cool, but 2-3x cool?

If they have no other way or it is just too hard to get bitcoin it does make some sense.  In most places in the world getting bitcoin is a pain.

Check out my post on page 3. Takes me weeks to buy BTC. Simple wire transfer is a 1 minute task.

Brilliant News. I am looking forward to getting one. Interesting so many people have trouble getting bitcoins. And it is getting more difficult lately as the price has jumped a bit since May 15th. ( was around 110USD then ).

The stock market today is a war zone, where algobots fight each other over pennies, millions of times a second.

More than 50, and that is what really counts!

I am not sure what I will end up with though, I am hoping for 100+ but there are plenty of people scrambling to get bitcoins (with my assistance).  If you really want I will update you with actual numbers when we close but at the moment it is uncertain.

Talking of closing, I am getting ready to email everyone with confirmations of how many and delivery address.  It will be very important for people to check over this email paying particular attention to the delivery address, after all this work I would be very disappointed if the devices did not get to you because of a simple error.

Exciting inset it?

Want to hear something ironic?  I started this group buy so I could get hold of a few for my self, the way it has worked out though I fell sorry for a few people who were desperately close to getting coins and forwarded the bitcoins out of my personal stash. It works out that I cannot afford to buy any myself!!

C'est la vie

In other news, the confirmation email is about to be sent out (going to my sisters for dinner first so give me a few hours).  Check everything that I send you and get back to me if there are any errors.

Sorry to hear that, mate. Maybe a few people will fail to reimburse you, so you can just keep their units.

That sucks, how much have you chipped in for others? Sounds like the extra you've put on for handling doesn't cover it?

I'll have an order in later today or tomorrow, I'm borrowing some coins from a work colleague to cover the amount I'm short.

Hi Neil,

It looks like my order confirmation email bounced due to AWS/EC2 - I've emailed you directly to your address listed on your website.

Can I get it re-sent please?

Ta!

Its not the end of the world, I am sure I will get my hands on some sooner or later.

It does mean however that I am probably going to have to use the "warranty" one to test and compile MinePeon support, if anyone objects pleas speak up Wink .
