Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I'd honestly feel more comfortable with $340 free shipping for the msi. Considering that the free game card that comes with it sells for $30 on ebay and this is used, i think this is a fair price.

I'm still interested in the 7970. My offer is now $315 (Yes it's less than before). You'd be smart to take it, because retail 7970 can be bought for less that $300 with free shipping. It's actually more like $260 retail because you can sell the included games on ebay for $40 easy.
