Back on topic: Just so you know group buys are just for giving you proportional ownership to something very expensive. So if you group buy Avalon ASIC chips, you only get your money equivalent of the group buy. Just clarifying. They usually work out, but only do them with reputable members that have a good reputation. Check if they have a reputation thread by searching their name, or looking in the Off-Topic board. I heard the first 4 that happened, worked out perfectly fine.

Thanks for the quick response! Yea I know I only get what i put into it, Ive been looking around the net and it seemed like this was the best place to try and get my hands on some asics. Thanks for the advise, Ill look for the reputation thread.

I've been reading through the group buy ASICS chips threads and am considering a purchase.
I'd prefer to have the rig hosted by someone else.  Some of the group buys are still open.
It depends on what part of the world you want the rigs to be built. I'm undecided as yet.
Are you building it yourself?

There are services, most are advertised on the actual group buy threads, offering to have the chips sent to someone who can assemble a rig, then send them to you or host your mining.
