Hi there,

I am looking to buy 4 or 5 of these machines to mine LTC with.

But i am concerned that LTC might become unprofitable in the future.

If it does, am i able to easily switch to other coins that use Scrypt?

I can't find any information on how I would do this with these Antminers?

Thanks for any info.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Any Scrypt ASIC is capable of mining ANY Scrypt coin, all you have to do is point it at a pool for that other coin (or if you solo mine, point it at the correct wallet).
