Why even have PayPal as an option?  They're just an online bank
Bitcoin wallet is also an online bank to most of us already. There's no need to compare PayPal and bitcoin anymore, we know what's the different of it and since this is a bitcoin forum most of the answers will be majority in bitcoin too.

It's quite clear that Bitcoin is much more beneficial in this case. Just like any other cryptocurrency that promises gaining profits in the nearest future.
It's beneficial in a way that if you don't want to convert it to your local currency there will be two possible results, it's either it will increase due to fluctuations or it will be done.

Unlike in PayPal, if you'll just hold there nothing will happen.

Make sure you back up your wallet regularly! Unlike a bank account, nobody can help you if you lose access to your BTC.

if you have 5,000 gifts  and Asked to get it with

1) Paypal: Buy/Sell everything all over the world.

2) Bitcoin: your money will increase/ decrease in future.

which one will choose?

If ever I have a gift amounting to 5,000 then i should get it through Bitcoin because if the time comes the value of bitcoin increases then it will be a big help for me.

Yeah it's a clever  Idea to use bitcoin as a medium of transfer because there is possibilities that the amount that   you transfer through would also generate incom for just a short time. Because bitcoin will increase thier price very rapidly at short time that is why those people working abroad who uses bitcoin as a medium transfer would be benifited with these because aside from iconomical the price is also increasing just hitting two birds in one stone.

I don't know why you're getting a comparative analysis between a company and a digital asset. But of course if you're talking about buying Paypal stocks, then I'd rather get some bitcoin with the 5000 credits you are saying.

Paypal is not a currency in itself. while Bitcoin is a currency. Paypal won't give you opportunity to interact in a decentralized platform while bitcoin gives you that. If we see as a general preposition bitcoin can actually overtake any limitation of paypal.

yeah paypal is not a currency, but we can compare bitcoin and paypal in terms of payment options, of course everyone has different views on this matter, some mention bitcoin better because transactions are decentralized and anonymous, some mention paypal is better for transactions because transaction fee is cheaper, I think this is relative depending on the wishes of each user

i will choose bitcoin, i can leave my money on a cold wallet and let it grow without doing anything. bitcoin price will continue to surge and will reach another milestone this year. on the other hand paypal will still sit on what they were on last year. you can buy and sell goods but the profit compare to bitcoin will be a big difference.

If you do recieve payment on bitcoin form then possibilities or chances on making even more profits is there since price of bitcoin is really volatile it may rise up and go down too this is why we should really know the risk involve on it but as we all saw on the progress of btc for longer terms we can somehow convinced ourself that it is really worth of to hold on.

For now on the recent issues of bitcoin when it comes to fees and confirmation times then the best thing to treat it is by means of investment which is just on simply holding it.

I think that each has it’s pros and cons. For now, paypal may be the better option when it comes to regular use because I don’t know much entities which accept BTC as a payment while Pypal is pretty much accepted almost anywhere. However, there are many differences from the two making it hard to conpare because they have different functions which vary depending on the need and convience. One may be better for one aspect, while the other for another.

You are right, I prefer bitcoin because bitcoin is anonymous and there is no need to verify anything unlike paypal that needs to verify your account first. Also paypal is very strict and always a high chance of limiting your account. The value of money in paypal is always fixed because it's fiat and bitcoin price always have the chance to increase.

I choose bitcoin. PayPal fully supports all the restrictions of the government. Bitcoin became popular because there are no rules. It is a system that is not subject to anyone. Happy bitcoin to all of its users. PayPal has no prospects. It will exist only as long as bitcoin will fix all their shortcomings.

It is a question of Centralized vs Decentralized and Regulated vs Unregulated. Paypal is just a bank that follows the governments rules and regulations compared to bitcoin that the user has its own controls.

This question is just like short term or long term question, yes , let's say that in PayPal you can buy through any merchants in the whole wide world but it depends on how much money you deposit into a PayPal account, unlike bitcoin, as long as you have the seed or any information's that you have concerning to your wallet, it will never matter on how much you deposit because it will continue to increase or decrease, at least there will be a volume of source unlike PayPal money always go out and most important is that there is no volatility at all. Decision depends on you.

I will choose bitcoin. because I think bitcoin is better than Paypal.
PayPal can indeed meet cross-country transaction needs, but only in areas that reach only. As a registered e-payment from the United States, the PayPal system does not apply in the countries whose names are listed in the US blacklist. On the other hand, Bitcoin as a decentralized crypto currency is not restricted by any country policy and reaches all countries that have an internet network.

Paypal is the number one bank service provider in the whole world and it is known a strong competitor of different commercial banks in the industry.
In my own opinion and based from the opinions of some experts bitcoins is really a threat from their business operation the fast growth of bitcoin is quite alarming for their since the bitcoins can replace them in the industry.

There is a big rivalry happen between the two. Bitcoin is a really a threat from paypal  since many people support bitcoin and fastly sees them as a number one company in crypto.
